  • Publication number: 20230262073
Abstract: Described herein are systems and methods for generating a cyber-deception strategy that adaptively implement a decoy file placement strategy for thwarting malicious activity on a computing network. The systems and methods can include a plurality of surveillance services that can monitor the evolving conditions and states of a target computing network. The information from the external surveillance services can be combined with one or more user defined parameters to serve as inputs to a system that can use the input data to generate a decoy file content and placement strategy so as to effect a cyber-deception strategy. In one or more examples, can identify one or more target objects to use as decoys and use the identified targeted objects as well as information about the target network, to generate a high-level guidelines that will be used to generate one or more deception plans for implementation on the target network.

Abstract: An electric bicycle, a control system of the electric bicycle and a control method thereof are provided. The control system includes a pedal torque sensor, a micro-control circuit, a motor driver and a motor. The pedal torque sensor senses a plurality of pedal torques during a traveling period of the electric bicycle. The micro-control circuit is electrically connected to the pedal torque sensor and saves a reference pedal force. The micro-control circuit calculates an average pedal force based on the plurality of pedal torques and the traveling period, and generates a control signal based on a comparison result of the reference pedal force and the average pedal force. The motor driver is electrically connected to the micro-control circuit and generates a motor driving signal according to the control signal. The motor generates a motor output torque according to the motor driving signal.

  • Patent number: 11663126
Abstract: Embodiments include storing return addresses for a branch-target-buffer. Aspects include receiving a first instruction and based on a determination that the first instruction is a branch instruction and potentially a call, storing a return address associated with the branch instruction in a prediction return address table, wherein the prediction return address table includes an entry that corresponds to an index value that is created based on a target address of the first instruction, and wherein the entry includes the return address that is created based on an address of a sequential instruction of the first instruction. Aspects also include receiving a second instruction and based on a determination that the second instruction is predicted to be a return instruction with a predicted return address table index value from the branch-target-buffer, using the index value to select the return address to predict as the target address.

  • Publication number: 20230127383
Abstract: Apparatus and method for a modular switchboard provide an adjustable length bus bridge for electrically connecting two adjacent switchboards, where the length of the bus bridge can be adjusted on site if needed. The bus bridge comprises a first set of busbars, each being electrically insulated from one another, and a second set of busbars, each being electrically insulated from one another. The first and second sets of busbars are arranged such that the busbars in the first set of busbars and the busbars in the second set of busbars are slidable relative to one another to adjust a length of the bus bridge. A longitudinal slot is formed in each busbar in either the first or the second set of busbars, or both, to accommodate a through bolt in the bus bridge when the first and second set of busbars slide relative to one another.

  • Publication number: 20220404978
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for performing efficient memory accesses for a computing system are disclosed. In various embodiments, a computing system includes a computing resource and a memory controller coupled to a memory device. The computing resource selectively generates a hint that includes a target address of a memory request generated by the processor. The hint is sent outside the primary communication fabric to the memory controller. The hint conditionally triggers a data access in the memory device. When no page in a bank targeted by the hint is open, the memory controller processes the hint by opening a target page of the hint without retrieving data. The memory controller drops the hint if there are other pending requests that target the same page or the target page is already open.

  • Patent number: 11526278
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for performing efficient memory accesses for a computing system are disclosed. In various embodiments, a computing system includes one or more computing resources and a memory controller coupled to a memory device. The memory controller determines a memory access request targets a given bank of multiple banks. An access history is updated for the given bank based on whether the memory access request hits on an open page within the given bank and a page hit rate for the given bank is determined. The memory controller sets an idle cycle limit based on the page hit rate. The idle cycle limit is a maximum amount of time the given bank will be held open before closing the given bank while the bank is idle. The idle cycle limit is based at least in part on a page hit rate for the bank.

Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for identifying response data arriving out-of-order from two different memory types are disclosed. A computing system includes one or more clients for processing applications. A memory channel transfers memory traffic between a memory controller and a memory bus connected to each of a first memory and a second memory different from the first memory. The memory controller determines a given point in time when read data is to be scheduled to arrive on the memory bus from memory. The memory controller associates a unique identifier with the given point in time. The memory controller identifies a given command associated with the arriving read data based on the given point in time.
