  • Publication number: 20240130734
Abstract: The present technology includes systems and methods for invasively adjusting implantable devices for selectively controlling fluid flow between a first body region and a second body region of a patient. For example, in many of the embodiments described herein, a catheter can be used to mechanically and/or electrically engage an implanted medical device. Once the catheter engages the medical device, the catheter can (i) increase a dimension associated with the medical device, such as through mechanical expansion forces, and/or (ii) decrease a dimension associated with the medical device, such as by heating a shape memory component of the medical device above a phase transition temperature.

  • Publication number: 20240126980
Abstract: Provided is a method for review of an XBRL document. An XBRL document is received followed by a request to create an XBRL review for the XBRL document. A selection of an XBRL fact included in the XBRL document is received and a first review status, of a plurality of review statuses, is applied to the selected XBRL fact. The selected XBRL fact is monitored to detect a change to the XBRL fact, and in response to detecting a change to the XBRL fact, the first review status of the XBRL fact is updated to a second review status of the plurality of review statuses.

  • Publication number: 20230240852
Abstract: Closure devices that selectively control blood flow between the right atrium and the left atrium of a heart of a patient. The control of blood flow can be based on detected values from a pressure sensor. The closure devices can include a body configured to engage native tissue when the device is deployed across the septal wall. In a first state at least a portion of (an inner surface of) a lumen is closed, preventing blood flow through the closure device. Ina second state, the lumen is open to enable blood flow from the left atrium to the right atrium. A closure element can be selectively adjusted to control the flow of blood through the lumen. A volume of an expandable chamber can be increased or decreased to place the closure device into the first state or the second state.

  • Publication number: 20230229399
Abstract: This disclosure describes one or more embodiments of methods, non-transitory computer-readable media, and systems provide developer tools for generating and providing visualizations of data densities for various portions of a computer application. For example, the disclosed systems can determine a data density that reflects a ratio or an amount of data presented within a (portion of a) display window relative to the entire (portion of the) display window. The disclosed systems can further provide a visual representation of a data density for display on a client device, along with indications or suggestions for how to improve (e.g., reduce or increase) the data density for better comprehensibility (e.g., upon distribution of the application). In certain embodiments, the disclosed systems can generate suggestions based on an application type of a computer application in development and/or based on a function associated with a particular (portion of a) display window.

  • Publication number: 20230181396
Abstract: Devices, systems, and methods for supporting the body of user are described. Devices, systems, and methods can employ a plurality of cells where each of the cells within the plurality of cells can comprise a bladder containing air or another compressible fluid supported by a base that forms a fluid-tight seal with the bladder The base and bladder can be constructed and arranged so that the bladder forms a rolling diaphragm portion with the base. The height and/or applied pressure in response to an applied load of such bladder may be adjustable substantially independent of the crosssectional shape and dimensions of the bladder. Each of the cells within the plurality of cells which may be a subset or all of the cells of a given support, can also comprise, or otherwise be operatively associated with its own: pressure sensor, height sensor, or both, and/or controllable inlet/outlet valve(s).

  • Publication number: 20230165672
Abstract: The present technology relates to adjustable interatrial shunts that are configured to shunt blood between the left atrium and the right atrium. In particular, the adjustable interatrial shunts can include a flow control element moveable through a plurality of discrete position, with each discrete position being associated with a particular shunt geometry, and with each particular shunt geometry being associated with a different fluid resistance and/or relative drainage resistance through the shunt for a given pressure differential between the left atrium and the right atrium. The flow control element can be selectively moveable between the plurality of discrete positions by operation of an actuation assembly. In some embodiments, the adjustable interatrial shunts include a ratchet mechanism that controls the movement of flow control element through the plurality of discrete positions, and can hold or lock the shunt in a desired position or configuration.
