The image detecting processes include: performing a first edge detecting process upon the input image to derive a first edge image according to a first upper threshold and a first lower threshold, and performing a second edge detecting process upon the input image to derive a second edge image according to a second upper threshold and a second lower threshold.

Abstract: The present invention provides a text and graphic separation method and a text enhancement method. The text and graphic separation method is used for separating texts and graphics of an image and comprises coarse classification and advanced classification. The method of the present invention also adjusts the luminance of the text to enhance the text image according to the separation result.

Abstract: A plasma apparatus having a chamber, a set of arc electrodes and a substrate holder is provided. The set of arc electrodes disposed within the chamber has an anode and a cathode, wherein an arc forming space is formed between the anode and the cathode. The anode and the cathode respectively have a crystallized silicon target. The crystallized silicon target of the anode is disposed on an end facing to that of the cathode, wherein the resistance of the crystallized silicon targets is smaller than 0.01 ?·cm. The substrate holder is disposed within the chamber and has a carrying surface, wherein the carrying surface is face to the arc forming space. Besides, a method of fabricating nano-crystalline silicon thin film is also provided. By using the plasma apparatus, a nano-crystalline silicon thin film with high quality is formed.

When the computer is booted, the start files corresponding to the file names in the file list are retrieved from a low-speed storage device and stored in a high-speed storage device. Afterwards, when the program is started, it is executed by cooperating with the start files in the high-speed storage device. Thus, the program is started quickly. This not only saves a user's time in waiting, but also increases the working efficiency of the user.

Abstract: Disclosed is a method for generating a basic template utilized to form a screening mask. The method includes adjusting lines per inch or minimum pattern (such as cluster size or density) of a testing template, printing the adjusted testing template by an outputting device, determining if the gray level of the printing result matches a specific gray level, and continuously adjusting the setting of the lines per inch or the minimum pattern when it does not match the specific gray level, otherwise selecting the adjusted testing template as a basic template. The basic template is optimized according to the printing ability of the outputting device, so the printing performance of the outputting device when using the screening mask formed from the basic template can also be optimized, and the minimum color points can be printed faithfully thereby avoiding dropping of the carbon powder.

The step-up circuit is used to step up a source voltage to generate a DC output voltage. The ring oscillator is used to generate an oscillator output signal.
