  • Patent number: 7780207
Abstract: A door latch system of a motor vehicle comprises a latch unit mounted to the vehicle body. The latch unit has a latch condition to latch the door at a closed position and an unlatch condition to unlatch the door thereby to release the door. The system further comprises a power latch canceling mechanism mounted to the vehicle body. The power latch canceling mechanism includes an actuator that, when energized, enforcedly causes the latch unit to assume the unlatch condition. The system further comprises a manual latch canceling mechanism mounted to the vehicle body. The manual latch canceling mechanism includes a handle member that is placed at a position other than a vehicle cabin of the vehicle and a power transmitting member that transmits a movement of the handle member to the latch unit. The manual latch canceling mechanism causes the latch unit to assume the unlatch condition when the handle member is manipulated.

  • Patent number: 7735883
Abstract: A latch mechanism holds a door body in a half-closed state or a fully-closed state with respect to a vehicle body. An open lever connected to an operating handle on the door body releases the half-closed state or the fully-closed state. A release assisting unit triggered by the opening operation of the operating handle assists the release of the half-closed state or the fully-closed state of the door body. A charging device charges a portion of a driving current supplied to a driving source of a lock mechanism between the operating handle and the latch mechanism, and supplies a charged driving current to the release assisting unit.

  • Patent number: 7696487
Abstract: The via chain conduction failure due to non-conduction caused by insufficient etching in a contact plug/via plug forming process can be detected precisely in a short time. For its achievement, a defect is detected at high speed by taking advantage of characteristics of a potential contrast method using a via chain defect inspection structure and an electron beam defect detection apparatus which can perform continuous inspection while changing an inspection direction without rotating a wafer. Accordingly, the capturing efficiency of a critical electric defect and search efficiency of a defect point can be improved.

  • Patent number: 7483119
Abstract: In exposing substrate by projecting an image of a pattern onto substrate via projection optical system and liquid, side surface and underside surface of substrate are applied with liquid-repellent treatment. By such a configuration, an exposure method by which when exposing edge areas of the substrate, the exposure can be performed in a condition that a liquid immersion region is formed well and that flowing out of the liquid to the outside of the substrate stage are prevented is provided.

  • Patent number: 7446454
Abstract: An energy-trapping-type thickness extensional piezoelectric resonator using a thickness extensional vibration mode having first and second resonance electrodes formed on portions of the top surface and the bottom surface of a piezoelectric substrate that is polarized in the thickness direction thereof, respectively, in which a portion where the first and second resonance electrodes oppose each other is formed as an energy-trapping-type vibration section, wherein, in order to suppress frequency changes of the thickness extensional vibration mode due to temperature, which is a main response using resonance characteristics, a suppression response having a frequency-temperature-change tendency for suppressing frequency changes of the main response due to temperature is brought into close proximity with the main response.

  • Publication number: 20080088138
Abstract: A latch is disposed turnably on a side door and becomes in a state of engaging with a striker disposed on a vehicle body. A ratchet engages with the latch by an engaging operation, and releases the engaging state by a disengaging operation. An open lever performs a door opening operation by the opening operation of an operating handle. A lever member is in contact with the latch in the engaging state, and excessively oscillates the latch in the direction of a closing operation, by which the engaging state between the latch and the ratchet is released during the time from the opening operation of the operating handle to the disengaging operation of the ratchet.

  • Publication number: 20070229791
Abstract: A step measuring method by which height distribution can be accurately measured in the case of exposing an object by a scanning exposure method, even when a plurality of areas having different heights due to steps exist in an asymmetrical distribution in a scanning direction on a surface of the object. Focus positions of same measuring points (26A, 26C) in a plurality of shot areas on a surface of a wafer (W) are measured, an inclination angle ?xg of an reference plane (27) on the surface of the wafer (W) to an image plane (28) of a projection optical system is obtained, and the inclination angle of the wafer (W) is changed so as to offset the inclination angle ?xg. Then, a shot area (SA7) to be measured is scanned to a measurement point row (32C) at the focus position, and the height distribution (step information) of the shot area (SA7) is obtained.
