  • Patent number: 6608428
Abstract: A longitudinally coupled multi-mode piezoelectric filter is constructed to use a piezoelectric stiffened effect. The piezoelectric filter includes a multilayer piezoelectric element having at least four excitation electrodes arranged substantially parallel to one another and a plurality of piezoelectric layers which are arranged between the excitation electrodes and which are polarized in a predetermined direction. The piezoelectric filter further includes an input electrode, an output electrode, and a ground electrode. Application of an input signal between the input electrode and the ground electrode causes vibration of different order modes to be excited and coupled, such that an output signal is extracted between the output electrode and the ground electrode.

  • Patent number: 6535272
Abstract: The exposure apparatus is provided in its main body portion with laser diodes each having different wave-lengths, for illuminating light for alignment onto a mark of a grating form arranged on each of a reticle and a wafer. The main body portion of the exposure apparatus has photomultipliers for receiving the diffraction light returned from each of the reticle mark and the wafer mark. The alignment of the reticle mark with the wafer mark is implemented by comparing phase differences of optical beat signals converted photoelectrically by the photomultipliers and by means of a phase detection comparison system. The light fluxes are transmitted between photomultipliers the laser diodes and the alignment optical system disposed in the main body portion thereof through optical fibers. This arrangement enables the position transducer to reduce an influence of generated heat upon the position detection of the wafer as well as the exposure apparatus, even if a photodetector having a large calorific power is employed.

  • Patent number: 6461426
Abstract: The production efficiency of silicon single crystal produced by additional charge or recharge method is improved by avoiding loss due to undissolved portion of poly-silicon rod supplied in the additional charge or recharge. A poly-silicon rod 20 as an additional charge is brought down in a silicon melt 11 in a crucible 10, while being directly supported by a seed crystal 40. The poly-silicon rod 20 is brought down to be totally supplied to the silicon melt 11, and then silicon single crystal 44 is pulled using the seed crystal 40.

  • Publication number: 20020063856
Abstract: A plurality of fiducial mark plates, on which a plurality of fiducial marks are dispersedly arranged by each measurement sequence which uses the fiducial mark, are arranged on the periphery of a substrate holder on the substrate stage so as to make the positional relationship between the substrate holder constant. This allows the fiducial mark plates to be arranged on the substrate stage at a place where there is little space. In addition, the main controller performs various measurement sequences that include the detection operation to detect the positional information on each fiducial mark using the mark detection system. Accordingly, it becomes possible to downsize the substrate stage, which leads to a reduction in footprint, while maintaining the measurement functions.

  • Patent number: 6384898
Abstract: Light from an alignment illumination system having a flash lamp is bent by a beam splitter to be illuminated onto an alignment mark on a wafer through a microscope optical system. An alignment signal treatment system reads output values from wafer stage interfermoters at the same time the flashing light is emitted from the flash lamp of the alignment illumination system. Since an image of the alignment mark focused on an imaging element is generated only when the flashing light is emitted, X, Y coordinate values representing a position of a wafer stage upon emission of the flashing light indicate X, Y coordinate values of the position of the wafer stage at the time when the image of the alignment mark is measured by the imaging element. An imaging element such as a CCD images a wafer alignment mark multiple times in synchronization with emission of pulse light while shifting a wafer stage. A plurality of image data are sampled and stored.

  • Patent number: 6371538
Abstract: A vehicle door latch device comprises a block member (66) displaceable between a blocking position (B) for restricting a displacement of a lock lever (23) to an unlocked position (UL) by a mechanical engagement with the lock lever (23) and an unblocking position (UB), a connecting lever (72) connected to an inside lock button (36) with no substantial lost-motion, and a connecting spring (73) for connecting the connecting lever (72) and the lock lever (23). The connecting lever (72) is substantially displaceable integrally with the lock lever (23) by an action of the connecting spring (73) when the block member (66) is located at the unblocking position (UB). The connecting lever (72) is displaced with respect to the lock lever (23) against a spring force of the connecting spring (73) when the unlocking operation of the inside lock button (36) is carried out at a state where the block member (66) is located at the blocking position (B).
