  • Patent number: 11953982
Abstract: Embodiments include in response to monitoring a processor during operation, detecting a first number of core recovery events in the processor, determining that the first number of core recovery events fulfills a first condition for the first core recovery events threshold, and modifying a value of at least one droop sensor parameter of the processor by a first amount. The at least one droop sensor parameters affects a sensitivity to a voltage droop. In response to modifying the value of the droop sensor parameter by the first amount, a second number of core recovery events is detected in the processor. It is determined that the second number of core recovery events fulfills a second condition for a second core recovery events threshold, and the value of the at least one droop sensor parameter is modified by a second amount.

  • Patent number: 11933941
Abstract: The invention is related to contact lenses that not only comprise the much desired water gradient structural configurations, but also have a minimized uptakes of polycationic antimicrobials and a long-lasting surface hydrophilicity and wettability even after going through a 30-days lens care regime. Because of the water gradient structural configuration and a relatively-thick, extremely-soft and water-rich hydrogel surface layer, a contact lens of the invention can provide superior wearing comfort. Further, a contact lens of the invention is compatible with multipurpose lens care solutions present in the market and can endure the harsh lens care handling conditions (e.g., digital rubbings, accidental inversion of contact lenses, etc.) encountered in a daily lens care regime. As such, they are suitable to be used as weekly- or monthly-disposable water gradient contact lenses.

  • Publication number: 20230157226
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining optimal water capacity or distribution for each of a plurality of sections of a field to be irrigated by an ancillary span of an irrigation system are provided. A path is determined for a steering tower of the ancillary span that is comprised of a plurality of position-based coordinates. The position of the ancillary span steering tower (and thus the position of the ancillary span) relative to the determined path is always known and, accordingly, the optimal water capacity or distribution for the needs of its location can be readily determined based upon a calculated area factor percentage.

  • Patent number: 11495930
Abstract: A steering roll connector configured to operatively engage a steering column. The steering roll connector may comprise a roll stator and a roll rotor telescoped in and rotatable with the roll stator. The roll rotor may have a wall and a surface, and the wall may define an opening for receiving the steering column. A slide may be supported by and movable on the surface from an unengaged position to an engaged position where the slide is positioned to engage and prevent the relative rotation between the roll rotor and roll stator. A spring may operatively engage the slide to causes it to be in the engaged position. When the steering column is received in the opening, a lever arm may operatively engage and pull the slide to the unengaged position.

  • Publication number: 20220256787
Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure provide systems and methods for controlling the flow of water through zones of an ancillary span of an irrigation system to achieve optimal water distribution for each of a plurality of sections of a field-of-interest to be irrigated by the ancillary span. The disclosed systems and methods optimally turn control zones on and off to minimize the flow variability of water supplied to the ancillary span. The technology described herein runs a series of simulations to determine an optimal irrigation plan for the ancillary span. The instantaneous average flow at different points within a simulation may be calculated. The plurality of instantaneous average flows are used to determine a variance statistic for the plurality, which is used to determine the optimal plan.

  • Publication number: 20220007596
Abstract: A speed-control system for an irrigation system may detect when an actual speed of the irrigation system is faster or slower than a target speed of the irrigation system. In some instances, the speed-control system may detect when the actual speed is faster or slower at discrete virtual points of interest and execute compensatory measures.

  • Patent number: 9980584
Abstract: The disclosed “Quilt” is in two “Parts”, each Part having a level of insulation which is independent of the other Part. For example, one “Part” can be extremely warm, and the other “Part” can be extremely cool. Both “Parts” can then be joined together to form a “Quilt”. When juxtaposed the two separate “Parts” of the “Quilt”, are a reverse image of each other, sharing both Negative and Positive componentry of a joiner. In this instance a Hook and Loop fastener is sewn into the joining “Channel Wall” of each “Part”. The Hook Fastener tape is sewn along one half of the edge of the joining “Channel Wall” to the middle of the “Channel Wall”, and the other half of the joining “Channel Wall” is sewn with a Loop Fastener tape. This arrangement permits both “Parts” can be purchased separately, and joined together allowing the individual to choose their own level of thermal resistance independently, while still being joined up with another individual's chosen thermal resistance.
