  • Patent number: 11921911
Abstract: A peripheral device, for use with a host, comprises one or more compute elements a security module and at least one encryption unit. The security module is configured to form a trusted execution environment on the peripheral device for processing sensitive data using sensitive code. The sensitive data and sensitive code are provided by a trusted computing entity which is in communication with the host computing device. The at least one encryption unit is configured to encrypt and decrypt data transferred between the trusted execution environment and the trusted computing entity via the host computing device. The security module is configured to compute and send an attestation to the trusted computing entity to attest that the sensitive code is in the trusted execution environment.

  • Publication number: 20240060592
Abstract: A pipe rehabilitation system and/or robot can be used inside a pipe to measure characteristics of branch conduits, install plugs into branch conduits before the pipe is lined with a liner, remove portions of plugs and liners after lining to restore fluid communication between the pipe and branch conduits, and/or install fittings into the branch conduits to connect the liner to the branch conduits. A probe can measure characteristics of a branch conduit. A tool can install plugs and/or fittings into the branch conduits. A linkage can connect a tool to a robotic tractor so that the connected elements can navigate through a main pipe. A visualization system can aid in aligning a robot with a branch conduit. Height-adjustable braces can support robotic tools in a pipe. A plug can include integrated locating features and/or movable parts that enable expanding the plug to seal with the branch conduit.

  • Publication number: 20220038093
Abstract: A gate driver for a semiconductor power device and a method of driving the gate of a semiconductor power device. The current flowing through the semiconductor power device, caused by a first gate drive voltage during the present switching cycle, is sensed. Based on a second drive signal to be used in the next switching cycle, a second current is determined for that second drive signal, which are then compared to an EMC model. The EMC model defines a plurality of EMC values for respective gate drive voltages and currents conducted through the semiconductor power device. A gate drive voltage adjustment value is selected from a plurality of gate drive voltage adjustment values in the EMC model based on the predicted EMC value generated by the semiconductor power device when being driven using the second drive voltage and conducting the second current. The second gate drive voltage is adjusted using the selected gate drive voltage adjustment value for the next switching cycle.

  • Patent number: 11090136
Abstract: A dental matrix device may include a body and a clamp retainer. The body may include a clamp cavity, an aperture, and a ramp immediately adjacent to the aperture. The clamp retainer may be at least partially positioned in the clamp cavity. The clamp retainer may be at least partially positioned in the clamp cavity and may include a clamp portion at a first end that may include a levered portion that is rotatably connected to a base. Translation of the clamp retainer in a first direction may draw the clamp retainer into the clamp cavity such that a lower surface of the levered portion rotates towards an upper surface of the base. Translation of the clamp retainer in a second direction may push the levered portion up the ramp to separate the lower surface of the levered portion from the upper surface of the base.
