  • Publication number: 20220314151
Abstract: An apparatus and methods are provided for an air filter for removing contaminants from air within interior building spaces. The air filter comprises a V-bank filter element for removing contaminants from an airstream flowing through a HVAC system. The V-bank filter element includes filter panels that are angled with respect to one another to form adjacent V-configurations such that front edges of adjacent filter panels are placed in contact and rear edges of adjacent filter panels similarly placed in contact. A top member and a bottom member receive top and bottom edges of the filter panels for supporting the V-configurations. A frame couples with the top member and the bottom member and orients the V-bank filter element within the HVAC system such that the airstream is directed through the V-bank filter element. Openings are disposed in the frame for allowing the airstream to enter the V-bank filter element.

  • Publication number: 20220292856
Abstract: AI based steganographic systems and methods are described for analyzing pixel data of a product to detect product counterfeiting. An AI based imaging model is trained with pixel data of a plurality of training images comprising (1) a first subset of images each depicting at least a portion of the product having one or more authentic steganographic features, and (2) a second subset of images each depicting at least a portion of the product devoid of the one or more authentic steganographic features. A new image comprising pixel data of the product may be received and analyzed by the AI based imaging model to detect the pixel-based feature presence or absence of authentic steganographic feature(s) to determine an image classification of the product. The AI based steganographic systems and methods may detect whether the product is authentic or counterfeit based on the image classification.

  • Publication number: 20220190882
Abstract: Wireless communication is established between a first station and a second station in a wireless communication system, the first station having a beamforming network configured to form a succession of beams using antenna weight vectors selected from a pre-determined plurality of antenna weight vectors. The orientations of the beams are arranged in a grid comprising a plurality of rows. The beams of each row are spaced in angular position such that at least one beam in a respective row is positioned mid-way between the positions of two beams on an adjacent row. A succession of beams is formed to send first messages using a selected first sub-set of the antenna weight vectors. If a first message in a first beam is received at the second station, a further succession of beams is formed using a second sub-set of the antenna weight vectors selected to form beams adjacent to the first beam.
