  • Patent number: 10740474
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for generation of secure indexes that permit the querying or searching of encrypted data in a cryptographically-secure manner. In various embodiments, a filter gradient comprises a node identifier, a set membership filter, and an ordered genealogy (such that it comprises a filter that encodes a subset of the items encoded by its parent), and a FiG tree is a rooted tree with filter gradients (and, optionally, one or more dictionaries) as nodes such that each filter gradient uses a different hash. A HiiT data structure, in various embodiments, comprises a hash table that points to the rows of an inverted index table. In various embodiments, an oblivious pseudorandom function may be employed to mask, secure, and prepare the phrases for insertion into the secure indexes.

  • Publication number: 20200107811
Abstract: An ultrasound system performs cranial therapy using a headset mounted to the head of a subject which contains a therapy transducer and a motion detecting transducer. At the outset of therapy, echo signals are acquired by the motion detecting transducer and stored. Thereafter, echo signals are acquired again by the motion detecting transducer and compared or correlated with the signals stored at the outset of therapy. When a difference is determined between the compared or correlated signals, an alert is issued by the system that transducer motion or acoustic decoupling may have occurred.

  • Publication number: 20200066181
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed herein for generating personalized nutritional recommendations for foods available from one or more food sources. Using the technologies described herein, a programmatic analysis is performed on different data to predict values of personalized nutrition data, such as one or more target biomarkers, that are associated with an individual after eating the foods. Personalized nutritional recommendations for foods available from the food sources are then generated, using the predicted values, and provided to the individual. The predictions are based on data that is associated with the individual, such as microbiome data, triglycerides data, glucose data, nutritional data, questionnaire data, and the like. A prediction service can utilize a machine learning mechanism to generate the predicted personalized nutrition data. A nutrition service utilizes the predicted personalized nutrition data when generating the personalized nutritional recommendations.

  • Patent number: 10503730
Abstract: Systems and methods that permit the querying of encrypted data in a cryptographically-secure manner. Generally, data that has been encrypted cannot be queried using plaintext terms because it is in ciphertext. Accordingly, use of filters that correspond to the encrypted data and are generated by multiple parties permits querying of the data without decrypting the data or compromising the security of the encrypted data or of the queries against that data.

Abstract: The systems and methods described herein assist persons with the use of computers based on eye gaze, and allow such persons to control such computing systems using various eye trackers. The systems and methods described herein use eye trackers to control cursor (or some other indicator) positioning on an operating system using the gaze location reported by the eye tracker. The systems and methods described herein utilize an interaction model that allows control of a computer using eye gaze and dwell. The data from eye trackers provides a gaze location on the screen. The systems and methods described herein control a graphical user interface that is part of an operating system relative to cursor positioning and associated actions such as Left-Click, Right-Click, Double-Click, and the like. The interaction model presents appropriate user interfaces to navigate the user through applications on the computing system.
