  • Publication number: 20190329075
Abstract: An ultrasound system utilizes an array transducer to perform sonothrombolysis treatment. The system also produces a vascular map of flow characteristics in the vicinity of the therapy site in a subject. The vascular map is used to formulate a treatment plan which includes the number, focusing, timing, and steering of beams of a pattern of therapy beams transmitted during a transmission interval. Formulation of the treatment plan considers factors such as the direction of microbubble flow toward a therapy site, the flow velocity, the spacing between successive therapy beam transmissions, the number of therapy beams needed to “paint” a therapy region, and grating lobe locations, many of which can be determined from the vascular map.

  • Publication number: 20190278698
Abstract: A method for providing simulation testing. The method may include receiving a customer request to generate a virtual environment for testing a robot of the customer. The virtual environment may be automatically generated by a service provider in accordance with the request. The customer may interface with the virtual environment of the service provider to iteratively test the robot in the virtual environment. This testing may generate simulation results that reflect interactions between the robot and the virtual environment. The simulation results may be communicated from the service provider to the customer. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed herein.

  • Publication number: 20190271614
Abstract: A method for generating high-value test scenarios for autonomous vehicles. The method includes identifying multiple scenarios, each associated with a location on a road network. An injury value may be determined for each of the scenarios, and the scenarios and their associated injury values may be stored in a database. A desired location for testing an autonomous vehicle may be selected. At least one of the scenarios associated with the desired location and having an associated injury value that exceeds a predetermined threshold may be identified in the database. A virtual reality test environment may then be generated for the autonomous vehicle based on the at least one scenario. A corresponding system and computer program product are also disclosed and claimed herein.

  • Publication number: 20190251861
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed herein for generating personalized nutritional recommendations using predicted values of target biomarkers. Using the technologies described herein, a programmatic analysis is performed on different data to predict values of target biomarkers that are associated with an individual. Personalized nutritional recommendations are then generated, using the predicted values, and provided to the individual. The predictions are based on data that is associated with the individual, such as microbiome data, ketone data, glucose data, nutritional data, questionnaire data, and the like. A prediction service can utilize a machine learning mechanism to generate the predicted value of the target biomarkers. A nutrition service utilizes the predicted value of the target biomarkers when generating the personalized nutritional recommendations.
