Abstract: Disclosed is a server including a transceiver, and a controller configured to receive, via the transceiver from a terminal, a first message including first information for requesting to share multimedia content stored in the server with at least one specified user and second information related to expiration of time for sharing the multimedia content, and based on the received first message, establish a condition for sharing the multimedia content, and transmit, via the transceiver to the at least one specified user, a second message notifying that the at least one specified user is allowed to access the multimedia content.

Abstract: Call processing methods and apparatuses are provided in a Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) based network involving at least one Push-to-Talk (PTT) over Cellular PoC client and a reception side PoC server. The reception side PoC server receives an INVITE request including a Manual Answer Override (MAO) indication from a transmission side PoC server. The MAO indication is for establishing an auto-answer mode in a pre-established session. If a reception side PoC client has the pre-established session with the reception side PoC server, the reception side PoC server sends an OK response to the transmission side PoC server in response to the INVITE request. The reception side PoC server sends a communication connection request including the MAO indication to the reception side PoC client. The MAO indication is used to determine that a transmission side PoC client is an authorized user with respect to the reception side PoC client.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting a notification about broadcasting services in a broadcasting system are provided. A method of a network entity includes detecting a notification event about a broadcasting service, the notification event including a change of a service guide of the broadcasting service; generating a notification message about the notification event; determining which channel is used for a transmission of the notification message; and transmitting the notification message to a terminal or a group of terminals over the determined channel. The channel used for the transmission of the notification message is determined based on whether the notification message is transmitted over a broadcast channel of a broadcast network or over an interaction channel of an interaction network. The service guide is generated based on service guide related information provided by a service provider of the broadcasting service.

Abstract: A call processing system and method based on an answer mode of a Push-to-Talk over Cellular (PoC) user are provided. A data format is defined, which inserts an indicator indicating a manual answer override into a payload of a Real-time Transport Control Protocol (RTCP) in a format of a new data field. When a PoC communication requester instructs the MAO to perform PoC communication regardless of an answer mode of a reception side PoC user, an auto-answer mode is immediately executed without any procedure of checking the instruction. In addition, when the reception side PoC user establishes an early session with a home PoC server in its own PoC terminal, the call processing can be performed at a quicker speed.

Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for providing location information of a User Equipment (UE) in a communication system including the UE, a Secure User Plane Location (SUPL) Location Center (SLC), and a SUPL Positioning Center (SPC). The method includes receiving, by the SLC, a request for the location information of the UE from a requester; notifying, by the SLC, the UE that the location information has been requested; transmitting, by the SLC to the SPC, a pseudo IDentifier (ID) for securing a connection between the SPC and the SLC; receiving, by the SLC from the SPC, the location information of the UE with the pseudo ID, the location information of the UE being calculated by the SPC, based on a positioning measurement measured by the UE; and transmitting, by the SLC, the location information to the requester.

Abstract: Disclosed is a multimedia message service method and system for sharing and searching for multimedia messages stored in an MM box. The MMS client has the possibility to associate an access mode (“public”, “restricted”, or “private”) to any multimedia message stored in or uploaded to an MM box. When a multimedia message is permitted to be shared, the MMS clients who have been granted access to the multimedia message can be notified of the shared multimedia message. When the MMS client requests to view or retrieve a multimedia message, the MMS relay/server checks if the MMS client has been granted permission to access to the multimedia message. If the MMS client has been granted permission to access to the multimedia message, the MMS relay/server allows the MMS client to access the multimedia message.

Abstract: A paging apparatus and method in a mobile communication system providing an MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service). In the mobile communication system, to page a UE for a first service through a primary carrier during a second service in progress through a secondary carrier, a PICH (Paging Indication Channel) transmitter in a Node B transmits paging indication information to the UE through the primary carrier by oscillating the primary carrier as a transmission frequency. A PCH (Paging Channel) transmitter transmits paging information to the UE through the primary carrier or the secondary carrier by oscillating the primary carrier or the secondary carrier as the transmission frequency under a predetermined control. A PBMSCH (Physical Broadcast Multicast Shared Channel) transmitter transmits data of the second service through the secondary carrier by oscillating the secondary carrier as the transmission frequency.

Abstract: A method for locating mobile terminals is provided. First, information of a home Public Land Mobile Network (PLMN) of a target mobile terminal, the location of which is to be determined, is checked in response to a location service request from a client. Then, information of a visited PLMN, where the target mobile terminal is currently located, is checked based on the checked information of the home PLMN. The home PLMN calculates location assistance information of the visited PLMN using specific location information of the visited PLMN. The location assistance information is transferred to the target mobile terminal. This allows location information of a mobile terminal to be obtained irrespective of the area or communication network where the mobile terminal is located. It is thus possible to locate a mobile terminal in an area where no location assistance information is provided.

Abstract: A paging apparatus and method in a mobile communication system providing an MBMS (Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service). Abstract: A method and an apparatus for selecting a location platform for a user equipment to roam and a method for determining the location of the user equipment using the same. The method for selecting a location platform includes: checking a visiting network of the UE in response to a location request message transmitted from the UE which is roaming; and selecting a location platform to calculate a location of the UE by comparing positioning capability information of the checked visiting network and positioning capability information of a home network of the UE. According to such a method, it is possible to efficiently perform the positioning of the UE, regardless of the location of the UE, thereby improving the quality of the positioning service.
