  • Publication number: 20240071593
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed that provide smart alerts to users, e.g., alerts to users about diabetic states that are only provided when it makes sense to do so, e.g., when the system can predict or estimate that the user is not already cognitively aware of their current condition, e.g., particularly where the current condition is a diabetic state warranting attention. In this way, the alert or alarm is personalized and made particularly effective for that user. Such systems and methods still alert the user when action is necessary, e.g., a bolus or temporary basal rate change, or provide a response to a missed bolus or a need for correction, but do not alert when action is unnecessary, e.g., if the user is already estimated or predicted to be cognitively aware of the diabetic state warranting attention, or if corrective action was already taken.

  • Publication number: 20230143652
Abstract: In a general aspect, a quantum program is automatically synthesized. In some implementations, artificial intelligence systems are used to generate a quantum program to run on a quantum computer. In some aspects, quantum processor output data are generated by a quantum resource executing an initial version of a quantum program, and quantum state information is computed from the quantum processor output data. Neural network input data, which include the quantum state information and a representation of a problem to be solved by the quantum program, are provided to a neural network. Neural network output data are generated by the neural network processing the neural network input data. A quantum logic gate is selected based on the neural network output data. • Patent number: 11574030
Abstract: In a general aspect, an optimization problem is solved using a hybrid computing system. A classical processor unit receives a first data structure that represents the optimization problem. The classical processor unit executes a branch-and-bound process on the first data structure to generate values for a first subset of elements of a solution to the optimization problem. A second data structure is generated based on the first data structure and the first subset of elements. The second data structure represents a reduced version of the optimization problem. A quantum processor unit and a classical processor unit are used to execute a quantum approximate optimization algorithm (QAOA) on the second data structure to generate values for a second subset of the elements of the solution to the optimization problem. The first subset and second subset are combined to obtain the solution to the optimization problem.

  • Publication number: 20220154281
Abstract: A method for identifying T-cells that are antigen-specific for at least one neoantigen that is likely to be presented by class II MHC alleles on surfaces of tumor cells of a subject. Peptide sequences of tumor neoantigens are obtained by sequencing the tumor cells of the subject. The peptide sequences are input into a machine-learned presentation model to generate presentation likelihoods for the tumor neoantigens, each presentation likelihood representing the likelihood that a neoantigen is presented by the class II MHC alleles on the surfaces of the tumor cells of the subject. A subset of the neoantigens is selected based on the presentation likelihoods. T-cells that are antigen-specific for at least one of the neoantigens in the subset are identified. These T-cells can be expanded for use in T-cell therapy. TCRs of these identified T-cells can also be sequenced and cloned into new T-cells for use in T-cell therapy.

  • Patent number: 11290473
Abstract: Using a set of anomalies indicative of a malicious pattern of behavior collected from data to determine new alerts for anomalies included in subsequently collected data. A set of anomalies found in data collected from data sources is accessed. The set of anomalies is determined by a prior analysis to be indicative of a malicious pattern of behavior by entities associated with the set of anomalies. Data that is subsequently collected from the data sources is searched to determine if any of the data includes the set of anomalies. Alerts are generated for any of the subsequently collected data that includes the set of anomalies.
