    Abstract: Systems and methods for regulating hydrogen concentration in structural materials by electrochemically controlling hydrogen desorption to promote recovery from hydrogen embrittlement are disclosed. Embrittled material can be exposed to an electrolyte and a counter electrode to set up a potential across the material to induce the electrochemical oxidation of atomic hydrogen (H) in the surface of the material. Oxidation reduces hydrogen concentration near the surface, increases hydrogen diffusion toward the surface, and eventually accelerates hydrogen desorption through and out of the material. In some embodiments, a catalyst can be applied to the surface of the material to return the material to its original state before embrittlement.

    Abstract: Provided are methods to characterize the VP1, VP2 and VPS capsid proteins in an adeno-associated virus (AAV) particle using liquid chromatography mass spectrometry, and/or ultraviolet (UV)-visible spectroscopy. The methods generally include the steps of (a) subjecting an AAV particle to liquid chromatography to denature and then separate the VP1, VP2 and VPS capsid proteins, and (b) subjecting the separated VP1, VP2 and VPS capsid proteins produced in step (a) to UV and mass spectrometry to determine the ratio and masses of the VP1, VP2 and VPS capsid proteins in the AAV particle. In another aspect, the disclosure provides an AAV composition comprising a post-translation modification. The disclosure also provides methods for characterizing the purity of AAV compositions using liquid chromatography mass spectrometry.

The method includes estimating an SOC of the battery pack based on a real-time current flowing through the battery pack, where the real-time current is estimated according to real-time parameters of the battery pack, at least part of the real-time parameters of the battery pack are capable of being acquired by querying a battery pack database with at least partially data preset. With the preceding technical solution, a battery pack can be provided which has a low cost and can accurately estimate the SOC of the battery pack without a current detection resistor.

    Abstract: A method to achieve full densification and grain size control for sintering metal materials, wherein raw material powder is deagglomerated to obtain deagglomerated powder with dispersion. The deagglomerated powder is granulated by spray granulation. The granulated particles are processed by high-pressure die pressing and cold isostatic pressing. The powder compact is sintered by two-step pressureless sintering. The first step is to heat up the powder compact to a higher temperature and hold for a short time to obtain 75-85% theoretical density; the second step is to cool down powder compact to a lower temperature and hold for a long time. The two-step sintering can decrease the sintering temperature, so that the powder compact can be densified at a lower temperature. Thus, the obtained refractory metal product is densified, with ultrafine grains, uniform grain size distribution, and outstanding mechanical properties.
