  • Publication number: 20100143691
Abstract: A composite material being excellent in heat conductivity is provided. In order to realize this, a fibrous carbon material made of fine tube form structures constituted with single-layer or multiple-layer graphene is present to form a plurality of layers within a substrate made from a spark plasma sintered body of a metal powder, a mixed powder of a metal and ceramics, or a ceramic powder. The fibrous carbon material constituting each layer is made of a mixture obtained by mixing a small amount of a small diameter fiber 2 having an average diameter of 100 nm or less with a large diameter fiber 1 having an average diameter of 500 nm to 100 ?m.

  • Patent number: 7631585
Abstract: A kickback-inhibiting device serves to inhibit a workpiece from being lifted up by a rotating cutting blade of a cutting device. The kickback-inhibiting devices include kickback-inhibiting members and a holding device. Each of the kickback-inhibiting members is movable between an operative position and an inoperative position. In the operative position, each kickback-inhibiting member is operable to engage the workpiece from an upper side in order to inhibit the workpiece from being lifted up. In the inoperative position, each kickback-inhibiting member is positioned upwardly away from the workpiece so as not to interact with the workpiece. The holding device serves to hold the kickback-inhibiting members in the inoperative positions.

  • Patent number: 7543890
Abstract: A fold-down automotive seat with spiral spring element for biasing a seat back thereof towards a seat cushion thereof is of such a structure wherein a first engagement element is fixedly disposed on the seat back side, whereas a second engagement element fixed to a base plate on the seat cushion side. The second engagement element is situated at a predetermined point forwardly of and distant from the first engagement element. One movable end of the spring element is normally engaged with the first engagement element. Upon folding down the seat back, such movable end of spiral spring element is engaged with the second engagement element, which blocks application of biasing force of the spring element to the seat back, whereupon the seat back is temporarily stopped at the afore-said predetermined point and prevented from being abruptly folded down onto the seat cushion.

  • Patent number: 7309108
Abstract: A headrest device of a vertically movable type including a headrest body, a stay element and a lock mechanism provided on a seat back of a seat. The lock mechanism includes a lock plate movably disposed therein and a biasing means for normally biasing said lock plate in a locking direction. The stay element is slidably connected with the lock mechanism so as to be vertically movable and has a non-linearly profiled surface region defined in a surface portion thereof with which said lock plate is biased by said biasing means to frictional contact. Such formation of non-linearly profiled surface region is effective in preventing a friction noise from being generated between the lock plate and the stay element.
