  • Publication number: 20150001329
Abstract: A counterweight that biases a ratchet lever toward an unlocking side, in addition to a self weight of the ratchet lever, is provided in a mechanism that locks pull-out operation of a seatbelt according to operation of an acceleration sensor. The counterweight is provided with a moment transmission projection that allows the ratchet lever to turn freely as a result of non-engagement between the counterweight and the ratchet lever when a tilt angle of a seat back is less than 60°, and that transmits rotational moment by a self weight of the counterweight (rotational moment in the direction of an arrow R3) to the ratchet lever as a rotary bias force toward the unlocking side as a result of engagement between the counterweight and an engagement wall of the ratchet lever when the tilt angle of the seat back is 60° or more.

  • Publication number: 20140306508
Abstract: A deviation in rotational angle caused between an adjustment gear and a sensor housing is compensated for with a profile of a cable winding groove of a pulley of an attitude control mechanism to accurately synchronize the inclination angle of a seat back and the rotational angle of the sensor housing with each other. Thus, it is possible to keep an inertial element support surface, which serves as a sensor reference surface, accurately horizontal even at any seat back inclination angle to improve the accuracy of an acceleration sensor.

  • Publication number: 20140306050
Abstract: A seatbelt retractor includes a rotation transfer mechanism configured to transfer rotation of an adjustment gear to a sensor housing to swing the sensor housing in the front-back direction of a vehicle. The turning axis of the adjustment gear and the swing axis of the sensor housing intersect each other at a predetermined angle with the swing axis of the sensor housing arranged in a horizontal direction with respect to the left-right direction of the vehicle. An inertial element support surface of the sensor housing is kept horizontal by swing motion of the sensor housing in the front-back direction of the vehicle, even if a seat back is tilted in the front-back direction of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 8616484
Abstract: A pretensioner includes a gas generator, a pinion, a tube pipe, a piston ball, a plurality of balls, and a tube cover. The tube pipe includes a tubular part that is formed continuously from one end portion to the other end in order to receive the piston ball and the plurality of balls. A hook portion formed at the other end portion is angled toward the pinion. A tip end part of the hook portion is attached to at least one of a refractor frame and the tube cover. With this construction, a reduction in an engagement amount between the pinion and the balls during operation of the pretensioner can be prevented, and as a result, the pinion can be rotated efficiently.

  • Patent number: 8446533
Abstract: In an AV system in which a television apparatus and a recorder are individually connected to an AV amplifier through an HDMI, in the case where sound is output from the AV amplifier, if insertion of headphones into the television apparatus is detected, control information to switch the destination of the audio data is transmitted from the television apparatus to the AV amplifier. The AV amplifier switches the destination of the audio data that is input from the recorder from a speaker output section to the television apparatus in accordance with the control information. Thus, even if the headphones are inserted into the television apparatus while the AV amplifier is outputting sound reproduced by the recorder, the sound can be output from the headphones.

  • Patent number: 8418446
Abstract: Disclosed is a technology that enables better reduction of NOx stored in an NOx catalyst in an exhaust gas purification system for an internal combustion engine. When NOx stored in an NOx catalyst is to be reduced, the air-fuel ratio of the ambient atmosphere around the NOx catalyst is decreased to a target air-fuel ratio by decreasing the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas discharged from the internal combustion engine. In doing so, if the temperature of the NOx catalyst is not lower than a specific temperature, the air-fuel ratio of the ambient atmosphere around the NOx catalyst is decreased to the target air-fuel ratio while bringing the combustion state into low temperature combustion.

  • Patent number: 8336296
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a technology that enables reduction of NOx stored in an NOx catalyst with improved efficiency in an exhaust gas purification system for an internal combustion engine. According to the present invention, when NOx stored in the NOx catalyst is to be reduced, if the temperature of the NOx catalyst is lower than a specific temperature, the air-fuel ratio of the ambient atmosphere around the NOx catalyst is decreased only by decreasing the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas discharged from the internal combustion engine, and if the temperature of the NOx catalyst is not lower than the specific temperature, the air-fuel ratio of the ambient atmosphere around the NOx catalyst is decreased either only by adding reducing agent through reducing agent addition means, or by decreasing the air-fuel ratio of the exhaust gas discharged from the internal combustion engine and adding reducing agent through the reducing agent addition means.

  • Patent number: 8201406
Abstract: An internal combustion engine control apparatus that prevents an abrupt change in the air amount at the time of supercharger switching. The control apparatus enters a small turbo operating state in which a small turbocharger is mainly operative, during relatively low-rotation-speed and low-load side, and enters a large turbo operating state in which a large turbocharger is mainly operative, in a relatively high-rotation-speed and high-load. In the small turbo operating state, the control apparatus can exercise charging efficiency enhancement control by using a scavenging effect. Before switching from the small turbo operating state to the large turbo operating state, the control apparatus predicts whether the large turbocharger will build up its boost pressure quickly or slowly. When slow boost pressure is predicted, the control apparatus exercises charging efficiency enhancement control to provide a low degree of charging efficiency enhancement.

  • Patent number: 8086385
Abstract: To provide a control apparatus for an internal combustion engine which can effectively utilize a scavenging effect while suppressing a torque difference in the internal combustion engine provided with a variable valve mechanism which makes a valve overlap period variable. When a scavenging effect utilization condition that the scavenging effect using exhaust pressure pulsation can be effectively utilized is established, a valve overlap period is set so as to overlap with a timing at which a trough of the exhaust pressure pulsation comes. In this occasion, a set value of the valve overlap period is limited such that an increase amount of a torque index value associated with the setting of valve overlap period does not exceed a predetermined permissible value.
