  • Publication number: 20220051514
Abstract: A single-sided ride storage locker system deployed at any site within a facility, and providing guest visitors with access control enabled by scanning multi-level machine-readable codes using mobile scanning computing systems, such as web-enabled smartphones with digital cameras and mobile application support. The storage locker system supports automated modes of discovering and finding where a guest's rented locker is located within the facility and its sites at any moment in time, simply by using the guest' smart phone to scan a device-level code, a site-level code, a facility-level code or a discovery-level code, posted anywhere within the facility or any site, without need for using a physical locker lookup kiosk or other conventional systems and methods.

  • Publication number: 20220051512
Abstract: A GPS-tracked wireless-networked electric convenience vehicle (ECV) includes a body portion adapted for supporting the body of passenger; a GPS system for providing GPS-location services to the GPS-tracked wireless-networked ECV; a transport system with wheels and a drive mechanism, for supporting and transporting the body portion; and a wireless electronic control module being integrated with the transport system, and in wireless communication with a wireless communication infrastructure, for controlling said wheels and/or the drive mechanism. When a web-enabled mobile phone is used to (i) scan a device-level machine-readable code displayed on the GPS-tracked wireless-networked ECV, (ii) complete an ECV rental transaction over the wireless communication infrastructure, and (iii) obtain access control over the rented GPS-tracked wireless-networked ECV, then the wireless electronic control module enables the GPS-tracked wireless-networked ECV to be operated on a ground surface.

  • Patent number: 11010788
Abstract: Within the field of advertising, multi-touch attribution (MTA) is the process of assigning credit at a unique identifier level to marketing activities for their contribution towards driving a desired marketing result. This invention discloses a data-driven attribution solution and optimization process for improving marketing return on investment by enabling greater speed and agility in responding to continually changing media performance. Specifically, this invention details a survival analysis based approach to attribution using parametric accelerated failure time (AFT) modeling which accommodates both the right-censored discrete time events and is well suited for media data.

  • Publication number: 20210095135
Abstract: The invention describes new designs of commercial inkjet or flexographic web and sheet fed presses with pre-coating prior to printing which may upgrade the quality of the substrates and render them printable by all printing technologies including inkjet and digital. Also described are curable water-based coatings, inkjet and flexographic inks and overprint varnishes which may be radiation cured at high speed without the need for external applied heat to remove water. When used as coatings or primers, the compositions of the invention may create a surface on cellulosic substrates, polymeric films and some metal surfaces which are suitable for printing on by most printing methods including but not limited to inkjet, wet and dry toner systems, lithographic, gravure, flexographic and 4-D printing. The primer/coatings may also add up to 35% tensile strength to lightweight “thin” papers.

  • Patent number: 10963687
Abstract: The technology includes an example method for parsing data to determine corollary objects and adapt attributes of the corollary objects using the data. In some implementations, the method may include receiving one or more images, performing text recognition to determine recognized text in the one or more images, and determining data cells containing information associated with a first item. The method may then classify one or more of the determined data cells, and may identify key cells in the determined data cells based on the classification of the one or more determined data cells. Correlations between information contained in the key cells and a second item, the second item including an interchangeable item to the first item may be determined, and the method may adjust attributes associated with the second item based on defined parameters and the recognized text.

  • Patent number: 10909336
Abstract: Systems and methods for identifying an object being extracted from or moved among a plurality of objects in a designated area, the plurality of objects equipped with transponders that emit a reply signal encoding an identifier. A set of antennas proximately located to the designated area are controlled to emit interrogation signals that cause the transponders to emit the reply signal in response. Sets of information are obtained regarding the reply signals received by the set of antennas, the reply signals including an indication of a signal characteristic and an identifier particular to the type of the object. The sets of information are analyzed to identify an identifier of the object being extracted based on fluctuations in the signal characteristic relative to the plurality of objects. One or more operations may be performed involving the object based on identification of the identifier.
