  • Patent number: 6935351
Abstract: A cleaning method for CVD apparatus wherein by-products such as SiO2 and Si3N4 adhered to and deposited on surfaces of the inner wall, electrodes and other parts of a reaction chamber at the stage of film formation can be removed efficiently. Furthermore, the amount of cleaning gas discharged is so small that the influence on environment such as global warming is little and cost reduction can be also attained. After the film formation on a base material surface by the use of CVD apparatus, a fluorinated cleaning gas containing a fluorcompound is converted to plasma by means of a remote plasma generator, and the cleaning gas having been converted to plasma is introduced into a reaction chamber so that any by-products adhered to inner parts of the reaction chamber is removed.

Abstract: A vehicle body structure includes a front side member disposed at a side of an engine compartment at a front of the vehicle body. The front side member extends in a longitudinal direction and has a rear part thereof extending to a fire wall and a lower surface of a floor panel. The total height of the front side member is increased by drawing sheet metal to form a plurality of longitudinal reinforcing members having substantially hat shaped cross-sections by and vertically stacking the members. This enlarges the total height of the front side member improves the rigidity of the front side member to prevent the deformation of the fire wall.

  • Patent number: 6544904
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a semiconductor device is provided, which prevents a polyimide film from coming unstuck from a film to be subjected to isotropic etching, and further prevents deposits adhered to respective side faces of the films from coming off, during a heat treatment for imidizing the polyimide film. Isotropic etching is performed on a silicon nitride film 4 using, as a mask, a polyimide film 5 having a predetermined pattern formed therein. Next, a heat treatment is carried out to imidize the polyimide film 5 prior to performing anisotropic etching on a silicon oxide film 3. During the heat treatment for imidizing the polyimide film 5, since deposits, which are to be generated by anisotropic etching, are not yet adhered to the respective side faces of the films, the polyimide film 5 does not come unstuck from the silicon nitride film 4. Further, the deposits which are adhered to the respective side face of the films after the heat treatment will not come off.

  • Publication number: 20030045254
Abstract: A broadcast receiver which detects the reception status of radio waves from other stations without deteriorating the reception status of a currently-receiving station, in digital broadcasting where consecutive time series data is transmitted. The amount of time-based interleave applied to the currently-receiving data is determined so that the reception status of the radio waves from other stations is detected while the reception of the currently-receiving broadcast station is interrupted within the extent where missing data can be recovered by such interleave and error correction processing on demodulation.

Abstract: An S/N ratio measuring method of a video signal which is suitable for the formation of an IC and can precisely detect a fluctuation of an S/N ratio of a video signal at high response speed while suppressing the total cost and a system based on this method. In operation, a composite video signal is received, a noise density in a predetermined period of the composite video signal is detected, and an S/N ratio of a video signal included in the composite video signal is recognized basis on the detected noise density. The S/N ratio measuring system has a demodulator for demodulating the composite video signal from the reception signal and a counter for counting noises which are generated in a predetermined period of time of the composite video signal and recognizes the S/N ratio of the video signal included in the composite video signal based on a count value obtained.

  • Patent number: 5952793
Abstract: A current flowing through a discharge lamp 4 is detected by a current detecting circuit 5, and the detected current is outputted as a lamp current signal A to a feedback control circuit 7 where a difference between the lamp current signal A and the dimming control signal B is obtained and amplified, and then a simplified signal D is outputted to an adder 12 which adds the amplified signal D to the dimming control signal B to constitute a control signal E. The control signal is fed back to a high frequency power supply 2. When a comparing circuit 15 detects that the light level of the dimming control signal B with respect to the full light becomes higher than or equal to 40% to 60%, the feedback circuit is disconnected by operating a switch 13 provided between an error amplifying circuit 9 and an adder 12 to stop the feedback control.

  • Patent number: 5814366
Abstract: In a method of manufacturing a multilayered ceramic substrate, a capacitor layer is formed on a green sheet of a low temperature co-firable ceramic by means of printing. The green sheet with the capacitor layer and a plurality of other green sheets are laminated together into a substrate laminate. Two release green sheets of alumina system each unsintered below 1,000.degree. C. are further laminated to the top and the bottom of the substrate laminate respectively. The obtained laminate is fired at a temperature ranging between 800.degree. and 1,000.degree. C. under pressure ranging between 2 and 20 kgf/cm.sup.2. The release green sheets adherent to the side surfaces of the substrate are removed after the firing. Subsequently, a wiring pattern is printed on the substrate, which is then fired at a temperature ranging between 800.degree. and 1,000.degree. C.
