Abstract: A face insert for golf club head in one embodiment can comprise a substrate comprising a score line groove-free front surface. A cover layer is provided at least on the front surface of the substrate. The cover layer can alternatively overlay at least a portion of the peripheral edge of the substrate. The cover layer comprises a ball-striking surface spaced by the cover layer from the substrate. Plural elongated score line grooves can extend into the polymer layer from the ball-striking surface. In addition, visible markings are interposed between the cover layer and the front surface of the substrate, the visible markings being visible through the cover layer. In one form the visible markings comprise elongated score line markings and target markings in a central portion of the substrate. • Patent number: 7774699
Abstract: A method for transforming a starting data structure into a resultant data structure is provided. The data structures may be embodied in any language or format, including the Extensible Markup Language (XML). The starting data structure is separated into segments. The transformation may be analyzed to determine which loops are top level and separable. The starting data structure may be analyzed to estimate the most costly loop, then separated along the most costly loop. Segments are transformed independently, and transformed segments are recombined to create the resultant data structure.

  • Patent number: 7714287
Abstract: An electron beam apparatus is configured for dark field imaging of a substrate surface. Dark field is defined as an operational mode where the image contrast is sensitive to topographical features on the surface. A source generates a primary electron beam, and scan deflectors are configured to deflect the primary electron beam so as to scan the primary electron beam over the substrate surface whereby secondary and/or backscattered electrons are emitted from the substrate surface, said emitted electrons forming a scattered electron beam. A beam separator is configured to separate the scattered electron beam from the primary electron beam. The apparatus includes a cooperative arrangement which includes at least a ring-like element, a first grid, and a second grid. The ring-like element and the first and second grids each comprises conductive material. A segmented detector assembly is positioned to receive the scattered electron beam after the scattered electron beam passes through the cooperative arrangement.

  • Patent number: 7682041
Abstract: An LED projector lamp includes, in succession along an optical axis thereof, a lamp holder, an LED light source, a light-mixing lens and a cover lens. The LED light source has LED chips arranged inside the lamp holder around the optical axis for emitting different wavelengths of light. The light-mixing lens has a structural surface with parallel lines of protrusions facing the cover lens such that such that the emitted light rays of the LED chips that pass through the structural surface are scattered at least one time and then pass through the cover lens. As a result, the emitted different wavelengths of light can be well mixed before going to the outside of the LED projector lamp.
