  • Publication number: 20050099332
Abstract: A target determination apparatus includes a reception unit, a judgment unit, and a determination unit. The reception unit receives a reflection wave from a target. The judgment unit judges as to whether or not a fluctuation state of reception intensity of the reflection wave with time corresponds to a distinction state occurring when the target is a predetermined type, on the basis of information concerning the reception intensity of the reflection wave. The determination unit determines type of the target on the basis of judgment result of the judgment unit.

  • Publication number: 20050003870
Abstract: A plurality of tabs are arrayed in a predetermined direction on a screen page. Every time a control switch supported so as to be capable of oscillating within a predetermined range and capable of pushing is pushed, a tab sequentially selected is shifted and activated. A setting screen page is displayed. When a part of a plurality of tabs are displayed on a screen page, a tab appears on the screen may be sequentially changed by pushing operation of the control switch part. In this manner, a tab is pointed, selected and determined only by operation of the control switch part.

  • Patent number: 6837355
Abstract: In an electromagnetic clutch having drive and driven side clutch plates in which the drive side clutch plate is provided with a plurality of elongated holes circumferentially arranged at given intervals, a depression is formed by compressing and plastically press deforming each bridge portion positioned circumferentially between adjacent two of the elongated holes on an axial end surface of the drive side clutch plate facing the driven side clutch plate. Though tensile stress caused by belt tension is likely concentrated on the bridge portion, the depression, which causes higher hardness of the bridge portion, effectively serves to restrain occurrence of the fatigue failure.

  • Publication number: 20040222975
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide an digital personal assistant with easy operationality when transitioning operation pages. A variety of operation pages can be displayed selectively on a liquid crystal display panel 12 having a touch panel 12a. A control switch 13 is supported to be able to be rotated in a predetermined angle range and pushed-in at the reference position of said rotation. An operation signal is sent out in response to the turn or push in operation of the control switch. A CPU 21 judges whether the touch panel is touched or the control switch is operated. When it is judged that the touch panel is touched, the CPU allows the first page transition to be done whereby the operation page displayed on the liquid crystal display panel is transitioned in accordance with the touch operation.

  • Publication number: 20040100479
Abstract: Predetermined travel locuss are set in a three-dimensional virtual space. Menu panels for displaying menu items are arranged along the travel locuss assuming a display position set as a local origin so that the normal to each LCD panel will face a virtual camera. The transparency of a menu panel is raised in accordance with its distance to the virtual camera. In case a scroll operation is performed, menu panels are moved along the travel locuss connecting display positions P until a selected specific menu panel reaches the display position P0. A display screen on a portable information terminal is drawn as a screen image V shot with the virtual camera and menu panels are three-dimensionally displayed in rolls.
