  • Publication number: 20220198528
Abstract: A donor incentivizes a payer to make a real time payment to a payee, as facilitated by operation of one RTPS Technology, by terms set by the donor to make an auditable donation to an affinity entity designated by the payer. To incent such real time payments within a predetermined geographic location, the donor's terms may limit its donation by a derivation of navigation time between the payer and payee, and/or by date and time of the real time payment from the payer to the payee. The payer can direct the donation by the donor to one of more affinity entities within the payer's own geographic community, and/or within a community where the real time payment was physically conducted. An payer can also make a donation to the affinity entity at the time of real time payment by the payer where the donation by the payer is paid by a payer financial institution that issued a payer account of the payer.

  • Patent number: 11367097
Abstract: Methods, systems and device for verifying a transaction in a loyalty or advertising system are described. One such method includes: receiving, at least one processor, transaction data associated with a transaction between a customer and a merchant; determining, at the at least one processor, from the transaction data whether the customer and the merchant are associated with the loyalty or advertising system; and upon determining from the transaction data whether the transaction corresponds to a reward or advertisement, triggering the redemption of the reward or advertisement.

  • Publication number: 20220012774
Abstract: Systems, data access management utilities, and methods generate links between local merchants and community programs, whereby the merchant may provide incentives to customers in relation to community programs. The implementations may track community programs, as well as online and offline customer transactions with merchants that make use of the incentive. Implementations may include as participants, customers, merchants, community organizations, intermediaries, and other groups or individuals. Participants may have participant identifiers, which may be linked to a payment source. Data may be collected about all participants, either expressly, or from offline or online transactions between merchants and customers utilizing a participant identifier, and the data may be stored in a data storage area.

  • Publication number: 20210365940
Abstract: Incentives are offered by merchants, delivery services, issuers, acquirers, and transaction handlers are made to an account holder to make an authorized e-commerce transaction for the delivery of a purchase in exchange for the offerors making a donation to the account holder's designed charity. To incent purchases from local merchants, the incentive may limit the donation by a derivation of navigation time between account holder and merchant. The consumer uses any one of several different merchant websites to check-out so as to purchase the selected goods and services in the account holder's virtual shopping cart that the account holder selected from any of the several different merchant websites, while avoiding interacting with third party vendors. The consumer shops with different merchants at different webpages without requiring the account holder to use a separate permission or log-in for each different merchant.

  • Publication number: 20210350403
Abstract: Systems, methods, devices and computer-readable media for generating incentives for a loyalty system are described. A method includes: receiving, at at least one processor, data reflective of transactions conducted by a plurality of customers; processing, at the at least one processor, the data to determine a set of attributes for each of the plurality of customers; classifying, at the at least one processor, each of the plurality of customers according to at least one of a plurality of customer groups based on the determined set of attributes; and generating, at the at least one processor, an incentive targeting customers in at least one of the plurality of customer groups.

  • Publication number: 20210326922
Abstract: Customers receive an incentive with use of an installed cellphone app to image an AR-bearing ad. Matches between data from the customer's accounts for each merchant are compared to the data in association with the customer's logical identifier for their cellphone, and particularly with each incidence of a rendering on their display screen of an AR view of a product advertisement containing the AR-triggering symbol to initiate the corresponding AR enhanced view of the ad. In conjunction with chronological time stamping of occurrences, a likelihood is derived that the customer's viewing of the AR enhanced product advertisement influenced the potential customer's subsequent purchase of the corresponding advertised product as evidenced within the potential customer's rich transactional data from the customer's debit and/or credit accounts. The certainty of each match is determined to further initiate the merchant's incentive to the customer which may be the merchant's donation to a community program.

  • Publication number: 20210192580
Abstract: A consumer in a community submits one request for an offer from each of a multiple of community merchants to supply a product or service within a time frame, where the merchant whose offer is accepted by the consumer will make a merchant-defined donation to a community charity selected by the consumer, and where the community is defined by mode-specific navigational transportation travel times between the merchant and the consumer during the time frame. The consumer's request is electronically forwarded to each merchant in response to which the consumer electronically receives offers from the merchants validated for compliance with specifics of the consumer's request, and the consumer thereafter electronically accepts one such compliant offer. The consumer is surveyed with an incentive-bearing request to assess the merchant's performance on the accepted offer, where the incentive can be a further donation to the charity.

  • Patent number: 11010787
Abstract: Implementations generate links between local merchants and community programs. Merchants provide incentives to customers in relation to community programs. Implementations also include online and offline customer transactions with merchants that make use of incentives. Implementation pertain to customers that view a broadcast of content that is interleaved with a merchant's advertisement and analytic reporting. Matches between transactions with a merchant and a customer that view a broadcast of content that is interleaved with the merchant's advertisement may be identified by the system, and a level of certainty that the match is accurate may be determined. These implementations can be operated by an alliance of entities that cooperate in order to facilitate, and benefit from, transactions between customers and merchants, where the customer is incented to conduct the transaction with the merchant by the merchant's agreement to make a donation to an entity of the customer's choice.

  • Publication number: 20210035148
Abstract: A method for changing operation modes includes receiving disaster information from trending data, a newsfeed, or an alert message; upon detecting at least one redirection trigger from the disaster information, configuring a loyalty system to operate in a redirection mode; receiving or accessing data associated with a transaction between a customer and a merchant; determining, from at least one of customer information and merchant information in the data associated with the transaction, a donation amount and a location associated with the transaction; when the loyalty system is configured to operate in a redirection mode, generating signals to cause accrual of at least a portion of the donation amount to a redirection account based on the location associated with the transaction; and generating signals to cause accrual of any remaining portion of the donation amount to one or more defined donation accounts based on charity catchment area parameters.

  • Patent number: 10902449
Abstract: The present invention is a system, data access management utility and a method of generating links between local merchants and community programs, whereby the merchant may provide incentives to customers in relation to community programs. The present invention may track community programs, as well as both online and offline customer transactions between participants that make use of the incentive. The present invention may include as participants, customers, merchants, community organizations, intermediaries, and other groups or individuals. Participants may have participant identifiers, which may be linked to a payment source. Data may be collected about all participants, either expressly, or from offline or online transactions between participants utilizing a participant identifier, and said data may be stored in a data storage area. All data in the data storage area may be utilized by logic tool, which may provide information, such as details of consumer behaviour and analytic reporting.
