  • Publication number: 20210233755
Abstract: A mass spectrometer includes a control system arranged to assess an operational state of the mass spectrometer. When a fault is detected, the control system assigns the fault to one of a plurality of categories, including a first category of faults which may be attempted to be rectified automatically by the mass spectrometer, a second category of faults which may be attempted to be rectified by the user, and a third category of faults which may only be attempted to be rectified by a service engineer. When a fault is assigned to the first category of faults, the control system initiates an attempt to automatically rectify the fault. When a fault is assigned to the second category of faults, the control system causes information relating to the fault to be displayed to the user, including data indicative of the fault and data one or more steps to be taken by the user to attempt to rectify the fault (2000).

  • Publication number: 20180240014
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media related to determining one or more responses to provide that are responsive to an electronic communication that is generated through interaction with a client computing device. For example, determining one or more responses to provide for presentation to a user as suggestions for inclusion in a reply to an electronic communication sent to the user. Some implementations are related to training and/or using separate input and response neural network models for determining responses for electronic communications. The input neural network model and the response neural network model can be separate, but trained and/or used cooperatively.

  • Publication number: 20180240013
Abstract: Systems, methods, and computer readable media related to information retrieval. Some implementations are related to training and/or using a relevance model for information retrieval. The relevance model includes an input neural network model and a subsequent content neural network model. The input neural network model and the subsequent content neural network model can be separate, but trained and/or used cooperatively. The input neural network model and the subsequent content neural network model can be “separate” in that separate inputs are applied to the neural network models, and each of the neural network models is used to generate its own feature vector based on its applied input. A comparison of the feature vectors generated based on the separate network models can then be performed, where the comparison indicates relevance of the input applied to the input neural network model to the separate input applied to the subsequent content neural network model.

  • Patent number: 10007918
Abstract: A method of performing a customer service operation with user interface (UI) element widgets is disclosed. The method comprises an application of an evaluation server receiving inputs that are responses to a survey of a user of a workstation. The method comprises the application determining a personality type and a technical ability level of the user. The method comprises the application receiving a request for a widget, wherein the widget provides the functionality to complete the user request that is related to an issue that the user wants to resolve. The application automatically selects a widget from a plurality of widgets based on the type of user request and the technical ability level of the user. The application then transmits the widget to the user.

  • Publication number: 20180151379
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a porous silicon (PSi) includes providing a semiconductor wafer; depositing a mask layer on a first side of the semiconductor wafer; patterning the mask layer to expose portions of semiconductor material of the semiconductor wafer; depositing a metal layer onto the patterned mask layer on a second side of the semiconductor wafer; and etching the semiconductor wafer where exposed by patterned portions of any of the mask layer and the metal layer thereby creating PSi regions at a surface of the semiconductor wafer. The method may further include patterning the metal layer prior to etching to form at least one electrode. The etching may include etching the semiconductor wafer with HF, a solvent, and hydrogen peroxide. The metal layer may form a plurality of electrodes segmented from each other.
