  • Publication number: 20120069054
Abstract: Electronic display systems include mobile units for remotely modifying a displayed image. An electronic display system can include a display surface, a processing device, a mobile unit, and an input device. The display surface can receive and display an image rendered by the processing device. The display image on the display surface can be modified through interaction of the input device and the mobile unit. The input device can sense its position relative to the mobile unit and can transmit data relating to its position to the processing device. The processing device can interpret the position data as operations on the displayed image. Accordingly, the processing device can modify the displayed image on the display surface based on interactions between the input device and the mobile unit.

  • Publication number: 20120064503
Abstract: Mounting systems can releasably secure display devices to preexisting surfaces for convenient installation and removal without external tools. A mounting system can comprise lower magnetic assemblies, upper magnetic assemblies, and a mounting sheet. The lower magnetic assemblies can be secured to a rear surface of a display device, for releasably attaching the display device to a preexisting surface. A bottom portion of the mounting sheet can be secured to the rear surface of the display device, while a top portion of the mounting sheet can remain loose from the rear surface. The upper magnetic assemblies can be provided along the loose top portion of the mounting sheet, for releasably attaching the display device to the preexisting surface. The upper magnetic assemblies can retain their connection to the preexisting surface as the display device is pulled away from the preexisting surface, until a threshold condition is met.

  • Patent number: 8061951
Abstract: An intermodal container tipping apparatus includes an upper support structure configured to be releasably mounted to a container transfer device, such as a reach stacker or crane, and a second support structure configured to be releasably mounted to an intermodal container. The lower supports structure includes at least one arcuate beam. The at least one arcuate beam attaches the lower support structure to the upper support structure. Movement of the at least one arcuate beam relative to the upper support structure causes tipping of the lower support structure and any load attached thereto while substantially maintaining a relative position of the center of gravity of the load.

  • Patent number: 7697506
Abstract: An enhanced computer telephony integration system that facilitates the interaction and integration of a private branch exchange (PBX) with a client computer on a computer network. An enhanced telephony (ET) server connects to the PBX and to all running instances of an ET client on a user's computers. The ET server acts as a proxy between the ET clients and the PBX. The ET clients register with the ET server for a certain telephone extension. The ET server then can forward telephone action requests (such as placing a telephone call) from the registered ET clients to the PBX servicing the telephone extension. Moreover, the ET server can relay telephone events (such as an incoming call) from the PBX to all registered clients. The ET server facilitates seamless integration of telephone and personal computer features to provide a rich user-controlled computer-telephone integration for a user.

  • Patent number: 7576639
Abstract: A system mounted on a powered industrial vehicle for detecting classifying and tracking in real time at least one obstruction in the scene around the vehicle. The vehicle is capable of moving in multiple directions. The system includes a multiple cameras mounted on the vehicle, wherein the viewing zones viewed respectively by the cameras preferably encompass 360° horizontally around the vehicle. Each of the cameras is operatively attached to an image processor, which processes the image frames acquired respectively by the camera. When a pedestrian is present in the viewing zone viewed by one of the cameras, the image processor attached to the one camera identifies in at least one of the image frames at least a portion of an image of the detected pedestrian.

  • Patent number: 7406595
Abstract: A method of packet encryption and decryption that allows for pipelining. The first step is to identify the packets in a message to be encrypted. Then, a unique number is assigned to each packet. A value R is acquired. Then, a first register is initialized. An initialization vector IV is generated. Then, the first register is stepped a user-definable number of times. Then, a packet is selected. R and the unique number are combined. Then, a second register is initialized. A checksum is generated. Then, the packet is divided into blocks. A block is selected. Then, the checksum is combined with the block and designated the checksum. The block is encrypted. Then, the first and second registers are stepped. These steps are repeated for each block. Then, the checksum is encrypted. After the blocks are encrypted, the unique number, IV, the ciphertext of each block, and the encrypted checksum are transmitted. If there are any other packets to encrypt then the steps are repeated.
