  • Patent number: 11942622
Abstract: Compositions and methods for the fabrication of electrode and porous lithium-garnet electrolyte scaffolds for use in solid state batteries and other devices are provided. The methods produce porous structures using phase inversion or high shear compaction processes to fabricate a solid-state battery electrode material from LLZO electrolytes. Engineered electrode structures with a porous scaffold of solid electrolyte material provide lower interfacial resistances and a mechanical support for a thin solid electrode layer improving performance.

  • Patent number: 11936529
Abstract: Embodiments include systems and methods for managing a network of nodes with delta processing. A network with a plurality of connected nodes can be stored, the nodes representing entities of the network. One or more deltas to the network that indicate updates to the connections among the plurality of nodes can be received. The deltas can be added to a queue. The connections between the nodes of the network can be updated using a delta from the queue. The network can be processed after updating the connections between the nodes to generate a vector for a given node. One or more paths for the given node can be identified based on the generated vector.

  • Patent number: 11929459
Abstract: Slurry compositions, tape casting binder systems and fabrication methods for the fabrication of lithium-garnet electrolyte scaffolds for use in solid state batteries and other devices are provided. Slurry compositions may be optimized mixtures of LLZO powder, a dispersant, a lithium salt, a wetting agent a binder, a plasticizer and at least one solvent. The optimized ceramic slurry compositions may include MgO as a sintering additive to improve density and ionic conductivity of the doped-LLZO sheets and produce a fine-grained microstructure. Sintering protocols for cast slurries of commercially available doped LLZO powders eliminate the requirement of mother-powder coverings or externally applied pressure. An environmentally friendly water-based system using methylcellulose as a binder is also provided producing green tape and final properties comparable to those obtained with organic solvent-based systems.

  • Patent number: 11928738
Abstract: Systems and methods relating to improving the experience of gig-economy workers are disclosed, with particular reference to gig-economy work involving vehicle use. During or after performance of gig-economy work, data automatically collected may be used to generate and present recommendations or education points to gig-economy workers. Such recommendations may include targeted alerts to notify gig-economy workers of high-demand situations or to coordinate between gig-economy workers and gig-economy customers. Alerts may be generated based upon current excess demand for gig-economy services, as well as gig-economy worker availability and preferences. For example, alerts may be generated in response to detecting emergency conditions in an area in order to mobilize a large number of gig-economy transportation service providers.

  • Patent number: 11782882
Abstract: Methods, non-transitory computer readable media, and storage management devices that ingest artifacts from applications. The artifacts are stored on storage tiers using storage providers each configured to interface with one of the storage tiers. Metadata for each of the artifacts is generated and stored in a metadata store. The metadata includes a unique identifier for each of the artifacts associated with a storage location for each of the artifacts on the storage tiers. Configurable expressions of a storage policy are periodically and automatically applied to the metadata to determine when one or more of the artifacts should be migrated. The one or more of the artifacts are migrated from a first storage tier to a second storage tier using first and second storage providers configured to interface with the first and second storage tiers, respectively, when the determination indicates that the one or more of the artifacts should be migrated.

  • Patent number: 10983505
Abstract: Some embodiments facilitate creation of an industrial asset item via an additive manufacturing process wherein motion is provided between a build plate and a print arm. A correction engine may receive, from an industrial asset item definition data store containing at least one electronic record defining the industrial asset item, the data defining the industrial asset item. A correction engine computer processor may then correct the motion provided between the build plate and the print arm such that the motion deviates from a path indicated by the data defining the industrial asset item. The three-dimension printer may be a rotary printer such that the build plate rotates about a vertical axis and moves along the vertical axis during printing. In these cases, a pre-compensation algorithm may be applied to correct the motion provided between the build plate and the print arm before transmitting data to the three-dimensional additive manufacturing printer.
