  • Patent number: 10698386
Abstract: Some embodiments facilitate creation of an industrial asset item via a rotary additive manufacturing process. For example, a build plate may rotate about a vertical axis and move, relative to a print arm, along the vertical axis during printing. An industrial asset item definition data store may contain at least one electronic record defining the industrial asset item. A frame creation computer processor may slice the data defining the industrial asset item to create a series of two-dimensional, locally linear frames helically arranged as a spiral staircase of steps (and each step may be oriented normal to the vertical axis. Indications of the series of two-dimensional frames may then be output to be provided to a rotary three-dimensional printer.

  • Patent number: 10677540
Abstract: A heat exchanger assembly can include a support structure, a heat exchanger, and an air guide. The heat exchanger can be mounted to the support structure. The heat exchanger and the support structure can cooperate to define a gap. The air guide can block the gap to guide an airflow toward a core of the heat exchanger. The air guide can include a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end can be coupled to the support structure. The distal end can extend a first distance from the proximal end in a first condition and can extend a second distance from the proximal end in a second condition. The second distance can be less than the first distance.

  • Patent number: 10640255
Abstract: The presently disclosed subject matter is directed to a packaging container that comprises an outer enclosure that include a plurality of covers that provide access to the enclosure interior. The interior comprises a plurality of compartments, each positioned adjacent to a corresponding cover in the outer enclosure. A single compartment can be accessed independently of the other compartments by opening the respective cover for that compartment. Thus, each inner compartment comprises an individual cover that can be opened on demand. One or more unique products can be housed within the interior of each inner compartment. In this way, the packaged products are kept isolated and protected until the user desires to access them.

  • Publication number: 20190228078
Abstract: Methods, non-transitory computer readable media, and storage management devices that ingest artifacts from applications. The artifacts are stored on storage tiers using storage providers each configured to interface with one of the storage tiers. Metadata for each of the artifacts is generated and stored in a metadata store. The metadata includes a unique identifier for each of the artifacts associated with a storage location for each of the artifacts on the storage tiers. Configurable expressions of a storage policy are periodically and automatically applied to the metadata to determine when one or more of the artifacts should be migrated. The one or more of the artifacts are migrated from a first storage tier to a second storage tier using first and second storage providers configured to interface with the first and second storage tiers, respectively, when the determination indicates that the one or more of the artifacts should be migrated.

  • Publication number: 20190163167
Abstract: Some embodiments facilitate creation of an industrial asset item via an additive manufacturing process wherein motion is provided between a build plate and a print arm. A correction engine may receive, from an industrial asset item definition data store containing at least one electronic record defining the industrial asset item, the data defining the industrial asset item. A correction engine computer processor may then correct the motion provided between the build plate and the print arm such that the motion deviates from a path indicated by the data defining the industrial asset item. The three-dimension printer may be a rotary printer such that the build plate rotates about a vertical axis and moves along the vertical axis during printing. In these cases, a pre-compensation algorithm may be applied to correct the motion provided between the build plate and the print arm before transmitting data to the three-dimensional additive manufacturing printer.
