  • Publication number: 20240104149
Abstract: A computing system is provided, including one or more processors configured to provide a social media platform configured to serve a content feed to a user. The processor is further configured to generate user content interaction information by detecting user interactions with the content feed and provide a recommendation engine that selects content items for display in the content feed based on the generated user content interaction information. The processor is further configured to receive a refresh request to refresh the recommendation engine and refresh the recommendation engine at least in part by masking or resetting the user content interaction information upon receiving the refresh request. After the refresh, the processor is further configured to generate, via the recommendation engine, post-refresh content items based on the masked or reset user content interaction information, and transmit the post-refresh content items to the user device for display in the content feed.

  • Publication number: 20220330958
Abstract: A disposable thrombectomy maceration and aspiration system for macerating and aspirating thrombus or other obstructive material in a lumen of a vascular graft or vessel. The system includes three major components: a disposable integrated aspiration pump and fluid collection device for generating aspiration vacuum pressure and collecting macerated particulate, a disposable integrated thrombectomy and aspiration apparatus removably coupled to the device configured to macerate the thrombus with a motor powered maceration wire while including an aspiration pathway for aspirating the macerated particulate into the device, and a catheter removably coupled to the apparatus and covering a portion of the maceration wire for insertion into the patient to the thrombus site. The catheter is of sufficient size to allow the macerated particulate to be aspirated from a distal opening through the catheter and apparatus before being deposited into the fluid collection compartment of the device.

  • Publication number: 20160225011
Abstract: The present disclosure tracks purchases and rewards for users of credit cards, debit cards or other trackable accounts. When a user is ready to purchase an item, such as an item at a retail store, a terminal at the store contacts a system for information concerning credit cards, debit cards and other accounts of the person. Information at the store discloses the category of the item and the price. The system then calculates potential rewards to the user, depending on the card or other account used to pay for the item. The user or the clerk at the store can then select a card or other account to pay for the item, e.g., a credit card or an account of the user with the store or seller of the item. A similar method can be used when purchasing on line, obtaining the price and checking for rewards.

  • Publication number: 20150348083
Abstract: A method for providing a savings opportunity includes receiving an authorization request for a user transaction by a first remote computer. By analyzing, at the first remote computer, the authorization request, it can be determined if the currency being used during the transaction is different from the preferred currency (as indicated by a user profile). If there is a difference, a savings opportunity indication for the foreign transaction is generated. The savings opportunity indication may be transmitted to a second remote computer where a savings opportunity from a database of savings opportunities is matched to the user. Then, at least one of the user and the merchant is notified by the second remote computer of the savings opportunity. Alternatively, the matched savings opportunity is returned to the first remote computer for transmittal to at least one of the user and the merchant along with an authorization of the transaction.

  • Publication number: 20130325681
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method of classifying financial transactions by usage patterns of a user. The method includes analyzing metadata extracted from the information associated with financial transactions in accordance with at least one business rule. Where the analysis includes sequentially analyzing the metadata using a constant-time lookup data structure, a Radix tree, a Lucene tree and fuzzy logic methods, until a unique identifier is found that is associated with the metadata. The metadata with the unique identifier is then added to the constant-time lookup data structure to update the constant-time lookup data structure. The transaction data is then classified based on the unique identifier.

  • Patent number: 7686461
Abstract: A high-intensity discharge lamp bulb with an attached housing for ballast and ignition electronics, forming an integral bulb and electronics unit. The electronics housing forms a removable closure for an access opening in a lamp enclosure. The electronics housing isolates the electronics from heat inside the lamp enclosure. A heat sink and radiator on the back of the housing provides heat transfer to a surrounding environment behind the lamp enclosure to cool the electronics. The electronics may be sealed in the housing for protection against entry of foreign substances. The electronics housing is fixed to the access opening of the lamp enclosure and to a boss or reflector mounted in the lamp enclosure, thus providing stable two-point fixation for the unit, reducing vibration.
