  • Patent number: 11908052
Abstract: A computer implemented method for emulating a mirror using camera video stream and a display screen to generate a digital mirror. The digital mirror is specifically configured for headshot applications, such as makeup and eyeglass tryout sessions. Provisions are made for correcting the appearance of the face on the screen. Specific implementations enable tracking the movement of the face or specific features of the face and applying virtual makeup or virtual glass or other accessories or other filters to the face. Also, recording sessions and auto-editing provides the user with easy accessibility to the tutorial session and the products used during the session. Products may be ordered from the user's mobile device at any time.

  • Patent number: 11750289
Abstract: Embodiments relate to providing simultaneous digital and analog services in optical fiber-based distributed radio frequency (RF) antenna systems (DASs), and related components and methods. A multiplex switch unit associated with a head-end unit of a DAS can be configured to receive a plurality of analog and digital downlink signals from one or more sources, such as a service matrix unit, and to assign each downlink signal to be transmitted to one or more remote units of the DAS. In one example, when two or more downlink signals are assigned to be transmitted to the same remote unit, a wave division multiplexer/demultiplexer associated with the multiplex switch unit can be configured to wave division multiplex the component downlink signals into a combined downlink signal for remote side transmission and to demultiplex received combined uplink signals into their component uplink signals for head-end side transmission.

  • Publication number: 20220398781
Abstract: A method for performing digital measurements by obtaining a first video stream of a user at a first distance to a camera; using an element appearing in the first video stream to generate a transformation factor to convert pixel distance in the first video stream to actual physical distance in the real world; using the transformation factor to obtain a first digital measurement in the first video stream; obtaining a second video stream at a second distance, larger than the first distance; using the first digital measurement and an angular measurement to an item appearing in the second video stream to determine a measurement of the second distance.

  • Publication number: 20220395176
Abstract: A system for generating bodily measurements of a user appearing in video stream. The accuracy of the measurement is enhanced by performing a calibration to obtain a length per pixel coefficient and performing registration of an avatar of the user to a graphical target to position the user at the proper orientation. The calibration may be obtained by using measurement of the iris of the user. The registration may be obtained generating a three-dimensional spheroid corresponding to the head of the user and moving the spheroid in correspondence to motion of the head of the user.

  • Patent number: 10109315
Abstract: A computer implemented method for automatic presentation of delayed video. During normal operation real-time video feed is sent to a digital screen for presentation and is also sent to memory for storage. When a delay trigger is issued, the system either freezes the frame presented in that instance or stores a time indicator. The system then monitors delay time and, when the delay time is reached, the system starts fetching frames from the memory, starting either from the frame immediately following the frozen frame or from the frame that was stored at the time indicator, and sends these frames to the digital screen for presentation. The system then monitors delay period and, when the delay period arrive, the system reverts to normal mode wherein real-time video feed is sent to a digital screen for presentation and is also sent to memory for storage.

  • Publication number: 20180083673
Abstract: A method and system for supporting M1MO technologies which can require the transport of multiple spatial streams on a traditional Distributed Antenna System (DAS). According to the invention, at one end of the DAS, each spatial stream is shifted in frequency to a pre-assigned band (such as a band at a frequency lower than the native frequency) that does not overlap the band assigned to other spatial streams (or the band of any other services being carried by the DAS). Each of the spatial streams can be combined and transmitted as a combined signal over a common coaxial cable. At the other “end” of the DAS, the different streams are shifted back to their original (overlapping) frequencies but retain their individual “identities” by being radiated through physically separate antenna elements.

  • Patent number: 9813229
Abstract: A high frequency signal is down-converted into an intermediate frequency signal, transmitted over a limited bandwidth medium from a master unit to a remote unit and up-converted back into its original high frequency at the remote unit. The up-conversion is aided by reconstruction of a reference signal embedded at the master unit as a carrier for a management signal which is transmitted to the remote unit through the same limited bandwidth medium together with the intermediate frequency signal. The reference signal is reconstructed using a phase locked loop which includes a charge pump and is kept stable during intervals between bits and messages by a charge pump shutter.

  • Patent number: 9684060
Abstract: Spatially located ultrasound beacons are provided in known locations within a distributed communication system. The ultrasound beacons are configured to emit ultrasound pulses that can be received by client devices in ultrasound communication range of the beacons. The client devices are configured to analyze the received ultrasound pulses from the beacons to determine their time-difference of arrival and as a result, their location(s) within the distributed communication system. The client devices comprise inertial navigation systems (INS) that calculate client device location as the client device moves, and when received ultrasound signals are below a predefined threshold.
