  • Patent number: 7024532
Abstract: A file management method, whereby inconsistencies can be prevented between a file recorded in a memory card and the file management information that a terminal apparatus manages, without leaking the information of a file made and stored in an in-card processing system. According to this method, a flash memory accessible from two processing systems 100 and 300 is provided. First processing system 100 requests a reservation of an use area of flash memory 200a to second processing system 300, which, upon receiving the request, implements a reservation processing for an area of the memory section and reflects the information of the reserve area upon file management section 230. First processing system 100 performs the processing of writing data into the area reserved by second processing system 300. Inconsistencies between the file management information that a terminal manages and a file actually recorded into the memory section of a secure card can be prevented.

  • Patent number: 6693617
Abstract: A liquid crystal display apparatus and a data driver of the present invention is provided with a sampling pulse generating circuit. The sampling pulse generating circuit is provided with a shift register for shift operation having a plurality of set-reset type flip-flops, and analog switches whose opening and closing of each analog switch is controlled in response to each output of the respective flip-flops so that a clock signal is outputted during the opening as a sampling pulse. Sampling of the image signal is carried out in accordance with the sampling pulses. The pulse width of the sampling pulse varies depending on the duty ratio of the clock signal, thereby ensuring to avoid that active periods of the adjoining sampling pulses overlap with each other.

  • Patent number: 6522323
Abstract: In a level shift circuit, a bias voltage setting section sets the voltage level of swing of an input signal IN, while an amplifier circuit section amplifies the amplitude of the input signal IN. This arrangement needs only one input signal without its inverted signal and allows the level shift circuit to be monolithically formed on a substrate identical to that of another drive circuit. This further obviates the need for adjusting the bias voltage every image display device using this level shift circuit.

  • Patent number: 6404139
Abstract: A current is detected through a resistor which is electrically connected in series with an FET for driving an associated one of display elements; the resultant signal is inputted to an operational amplification circuit through a capacitor to be amplified therein; and an output signal from the operational amplification circuit is converted into digital data in an A/D conversion circuit to be applied to a drive control circuit. In the drive control circuit, the amount of electric charges which have been caused to flow through the associated one of the display elements is arithmetically determined, and a period of time when the FET is kept turned ON is controlled in dependence on the amount of electric charges thus arithmetically determined.
