  • Patent number: 9831201
Abstract: The subject matter contained herein discloses methods for forming a vertical metallic pillar overlying an under bump metal pad further overlying a semiconductor substrate, and applying a discrete solder cap on a top surface of the pillar, wherein the metallic pillar is defined by at least one photoresist layer. The method includes heating a multi-element metallic paste containing a variable amount of metallic powder, a melting point depressant and a flux such that the metal powder sinters to form the metallic pillar and simultaneously adheres the metallic pillar to the underbump metal pad.

  • Patent number: 9709012
Abstract: A method and apparatus for determining a characteristic of an injector are set forth. In one example, a compressed gas is applied to the inlet chamber of the injector while the spoolvalve is closed until the pressure of the compressed gas in the inlet chamber reaches a predetermined pressure. A change in pressure of the compressed gas in the inlet chamber is measured over time while the spool valve is closed. The pressure change measurement corresponds to the characteristic of the injector that is to be determined.

  • Publication number: 20150101278
Abstract: A thermal clip attachment apparatus and methods for using the thermal clip attachment with a masonry veneer anchor system are disclosed. The thermal clip attachment may be a composite piece that attaches to the part of a stud that protrudes from an inner structural supportive wall after the stud is advanced into the wall. The thermal clip attachment serves as a thermal break between the stud and an outer masonry veneer wall. Further, the thermal clip attachment also serves as an attachment point for a wire tie, which allows a positive lateral load connection to be established between the outer masonry veneer wall and the inner structural supportive wall.

  • Patent number: 7917992
Abstract: In various exemplary embodiments, the present invention provides a lightweight, maneuverable, thin-walled, transparent apparatus for use with a heavy-duty vacuum system for quickly and easily collecting and storing large volumes of bulky debris, thereby reducing the time needed for cleanup. The present invention also provides an improved vacuum manifold assembly that may be used in conjunction with various gas and electric blower/vacuum motors, both novel and conventional. The present invention further provides various gutter cleaning and other tools that may be used in conjunction with such a vacuum system. The gutter cleaning vacuum system including the improved hinged vacuum manifold assembly of the present invention has sufficient power and is designed such that the various gutter cleaning and other tools are effective, suction-wise, at great distances from the unit, such that an operator may use the gutter cleaning and other tools at great distances over his/her head, for example.

  • Patent number: 7908794
Abstract: A flower pot assembly including at least one axle and two wheels near a lower region of a pot-shaped element. The axle is located from the bottom of the pot by a distance greater than the radius of the wheels such that the wheels are not in contact with the surface on which the assembly rests. Tipping of the flowerpot assembly brings the wheels into contact with the surface, and further tipping frees the bottom of the pot from contact with the surface. In this attitude, the assembly may be readily wheeled to a new location. A vertical handle, preferably detachable, is attached to a side above the axle to facilitate tipping and moving. The element may be cylindrical, conical, rectangular, or any other convenient shape. Preferably, the element is tapered to facilitate stacking of pots without wheels for shipping and storage.
