  • Patent number: 11898556
Abstract: A safety device for an orbital pump has first and second interleaved parts which are operable to follow an orbital path with respect to each other, the safety device comprising: a first member fixable with respect to the first interleaved part; and a second member fixable with respect to the second interleaved part, the second member defining an aperture into which the first member is receivable, the aperture being dimensioned to prevent movement of the first interleaved part with respect to the second interleaved part beyond the orbital path. In this way, the members of the safety device help to prevent the moving components of the pump contacting, thereby preventing damage.

Abstract: An electronic module assembly (EMA) for use in controlling one or more personal restraint systems. A programmed processor within the EMA is configured to determine when a personal restraint system associated with each seat in a vehicle should be deployed. In addition, the programmed processor is configured to perform a diagnostic self-test to determine if the EMA and the personal restraint systems are operational. In one embodiment, results of the diagnostic self-test routine are displayed on a display included on the electronic module assembly. In an alternative embodiment, the results of the diagnostic self-test routine are transmitted via a wireless transceiver to a remote device. • Publication number: 20230362001
Abstract: A vault encryption abstraction framework computing system provides interface functionality to facilitate integration of client applications with vaulting solutions. The vault encryption abstraction framework manages custom authentication and authorization using the vaulting solution application for one or more client applications such as by periodically rotating or renewing any authentication tokens. The vault encryption abstraction framework includes a scheduler to manage timing requirements and to configure the client application to the schedule by setting the renewed token value to an API endpoint (e.g., a function return) and/or a configuration file for access by one or more client applications. This event triggers the client application to update to the latest token value. The vault encryption abstraction framework then triggers the vaulting solution to create and return the new key. The new key is then returned to the client application.

  • Patent number: 11750917
Abstract: A system for consistently imaging objects may include an imaging device that presents a visual guide on a display for aligning with a target object, and that uses sensors of the imaging device to provide exact direction for correctly aligning the visual guide with the target object prior to capturing an image of the target object. The system may include a device that receives a particular image of a particular object, selects a model that defines positional commonality or visual characteristic commonality between a set of images of the particular object or a particular object type that includes the particular object, and that generates an edited image by correcting one or more deviations between positioning of the particular object in the particular image and the positional commonality specified in the model, or between visual characteristics of the particular image and the visual characteristic commonality specified in the model.

  • Patent number: 11735492
Abstract: Low inductance power modules for ultra-fast wide-bandgap semiconductor power switching devices are disclosed. Conductive tracks define power buses for a switching topology, e.g. comprising GaN E-HEMTs, with power terminals extending from the power buses through the housing to provide a heatsink-to-busbar distance which meets creepage and clearance requirements. Low-profile, low-inductance terminals for gate and source-sense connections extend from contact areas located adjacent each power switching device to provide for a low inductance gate drive loop, for high di/dt switching. The gate driver board is mounted on the low-profile terminals, inside or outside of the housing, with decoupling capacitors provided on the driver board. For paralleled switches, additional terminals, which are referred to as dynamic performance pins, are provided to the power buses.

  • Patent number: 11719222
Abstract: A method for joining rotor blade segments of a rotor blade includes forming a female structural member having a receipt portion with a cavity and a structural portion. Further, the method includes securing the female structural member within a first blade segment. The method also includes forming a male structural member having a protrusion portion and a structural portion. Moreover, the method includes securing the structural portion of the male structural member within a second blade segment. In addition, the method includes inserting the protrusion portion into the cavity. As such, when inserted, an interface of the protrusion portion and the cavity forms one or more internal channels. Thus, the method further includes injecting adhesive into the one or more internal channels so as to secure the first and second blade segments together.

  • Publication number: 20230222098
Abstract: In a system for efficiently organizing, storing, and/or accessing project data, and for visualizing project progress, for a specified project, a fractal-based or bioinspired reference structure is selected. A file organization and storage structure is generated based on the reference structure. The reference structure includes tags that can indicate the appropriate storage locations for different types of project-related data based on the nature of the data. To storage a file, the name and/or contents of the file are analyzed and matched with one or more tags, so that the file can be stored at the location identified by the best matching tag.

  • Publication number: 20230194321
Abstract: A flow sensor includes a flow tube in a form of a tube and a support cast around the flow tube. The support clamps the flow tube and the flow tube extends through the support. The flow sensor is formed by placing the flow tube in a tube cavity of a casting mold and pouring or injecting a liquid resin into a support cavity of the casting mold. The support is formed around the flow tube from solidifying the liquid resin in the support cavity of the casting mold. A temperature of the casting mold during formation of the support does not exceed a threshold temperature to avoid deformation of the flow tube. The flow sensor can also include at least one memory chip that stores calibration information associated with the flow sensor and connectors that allows a controller to read the calibration information from the memory chip.
