  • Publication number: 20210398875
Abstract: Low inductance power modules for ultra-fast wide-bandgap semiconductor power switching devices are disclosed. Conductive tracks define power buses for a switching topology, e.g. comprising GaN E-HEMTs, with power terminals extending from the power buses through the housing to provide a heatsink-to-busbar distance which meets creepage and clearance requirements. Low-profile, low-inductance terminals for gate and source-sense connections extend from contact areas located adjacent each power switching device to provide for a low inductance gate drive loop, for high di/dt switching. The gate driver board is mounted on the low-profile terminals, inside or outside of the housing, with decoupling capacitors provided on the driver board. For paralleled switches, additional terminals, which are referred to as dynamic performance pins, are provided to the power buses.

  • Publication number: 20210270947
Abstract: A vehicle sensor calibration system can detect an SDV on a turntable surrounded by a plurality of fiducial targets, and rotate the turntable using a control mechanism to provide the sensor system of the SDV with a sensor view of the plurality of fiducial targets. The vehicle sensor calibration system can receive, over a communication link with the SDV, a data log corresponding to the sensor view from the sensor system of the SDV recorded as the SDV rotates on the turntable. Thereafter, the vehicle sensor calibration system can analyze the sensor data to determine a set of calibration parameters to calibrate the sensor system of the SDV.

  • Publication number: 20210186330
Abstract: A method and system for assessment of cognitive function of an individual. The method includes having an individual execute a standardized cognitive task, followed by a brain perturbation which either excites or suppresses cognitive ability. The individual executes at least one further standardized cognitive task after the brain perturbation. Neuroimaging can be used concurrently while the individual is executing each of the tasks to obtain additional data to supplement the task scores. The post perturbation scores are compared against the pre-perturbation score to provide a standardized metric which can then be compared against individuals of the same gender and approximate age. These results can help predict and diagnose various brain diseases. A fitted helmet with integrated neuroimaging sensors, and with preset cutouts for receiving a TMS coil, facilitates positioning and orientation of the coil proximate the motor cortex and the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex for the above methods.
