  • Publication number: 20200378011
Abstract: Coatings applicable to a variety of substrate articles, structures, materials, and equipment are described. In various applications, the substrate includes metal surface susceptible to formation of oxide, nitride, fluoride, or chloride of such metal thereon, wherein the metal surface is configured to be contacted in use with gas, solid, or liquid that is reactive therewith to form a reaction product that is deleterious to the substrate article, structure, material, or equipment. The metal surface is coated with a protective coating preventing reaction of the coated surface with the reactive gas, and/or otherwise improving the electrical, chemical, thermal, or structural properties of the substrate article or equipment. Various methods of coating the metal surface are described, and for selecting the coating material that is utilized.

  • Patent number: 10734270
Abstract: A vacuum chuck with polymeric embossments is disclosed. The polymeric embossments are formed on the surface of a base substrate and are lapped to a flatness such that a wafer substrate clamped by the vacuum chuck has a peak to valley flatness that is less than a peak to valley flatness across the base substrate. Lapping of the polymeric embossments accommodates for variations in the flatness of the base substrate so long as the embossments are tall enough to stand over the peak to valley height variations in the base substrate.

  • Patent number: 10639507
Abstract: There is provided a fire collar comprising a casing defining a service conduit passage therethrough, the casing having an activation side and an installation side, wherein the casing defines an activation side located activation chamber. The fire collar has an opposing pair of shutters located within the activation chamber defining operative leading edges. In use, the shutters are configurable in a non-activated configuration wherein the leading edges are spaced apart so as to make allowance for the service conduit therebetween and when the fire collar is exposed to heat on the activation side in use, the shutters transition to an activated configuration wherein the respective leading edges of the shutters close in the passage.

  • Patent number: 10623571
Abstract: Embodiments of the invention involve providing automated assistance to an agent operating an agent terminal. A database stores an automated assistance session comprising communications between at least one client terminal and at least one agent terminal during a communication session. The automated assistance session is restored in response to a connection being reestablished with the client terminal after the client terminal disconnects during the communication session. A client communication is received from the client terminal, and a plurality of statements is determined based on the client communication and the communications of the automated assistance session stored in the database. The statements are configured to be manually selected by an agent or automatically selected by an automated agent. The automated agent is engaged for automatically selecting one of the statements in response to a predetermined condition.
