  • Publication number: 20230041702
Abstract: A data processing system includes a plurality of processor cores each supported by a respective one of a plurality of vertical cache hierarchies. Based on receiving on a system fabric a cache injection request requesting injection of a data into a cache line identified by a target real address, the data is written into a cache in a first vertical cache hierarchy among the plurality of vertical cache hierarchies. Based on a value in a field of the cache injection request, a distribute field is set in a directory entry of the first vertical cache hierarchy. Upon eviction of the cache line the first vertical cache hierarchy, a determination is made whether the distribute field is set. Based on determining the distribute field is set, a lateral castout of the cache line from the first vertical cache hierarchy to a second vertical cache hierarchy is performed.

  • Publication number: 20220289613
Abstract: A glass manufacturing apparatus includes a delivery apparatus defining a travel path extending in a travel direction. The delivery apparatus conveys a glass ribbon along the travel path in the travel direction of the delivery apparatus. The glass manufacturing apparatus includes a first forming roll and a second forming roll spaced apart from the first forming roll to define a gap. The first forming roll and the second forming roll receive the glass ribbon along the travel path within the gap. A drive apparatus is coupled to the first forming roll and the second forming roll. The drive apparatus moves one or more of the first forming roll independently of the second forming roll or the second forming roll independently of the first forming roll to change a width of the gap.

Abstract: The present invention relates a molded composite material and a method and process for creating the composite material from either recycled low grade mixed glass cullet or new glass. The composite material including; crushed glass; one or more aluminium compounds selected from oxide and hydrate at combined 0.40%-0.78% weight per weight of the glass; oxides of silicon, boron, sodium, calcium and potassium at combined 1.27%-1.90% weight per weight of the glass; zirconium silicate at 0.48%-1.3% weight per weight of the glass; and optionally tin oxide at 0%-0.45% weight per weight of the glass. The composite of the present invention can be used for making tiles, bench tops, work surfaces or other similar types of building products. The use of low grade mixed glass can also help reduce the amount of used glass being dumped in landfill or used in other low value enterprises such as providing highway aggregate or landfill cover.

  • Patent number: 10541722
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a design, simulation, and hardware build of a photonic compressed sensing Nyquist folding receiver that is able to directly undersample wideband RF signals and detect the original Nyquist zone and frequency information. According to an exemplary embodiment, this is achieved by generating a frequency modulated optical impulse train for directly undersampling the RF environment at the antenna. The impulse train undersamples the signals using an optical modulator configuration at 1550 nm and collects the detected samples in a low pass interpolation filter which is subsequently processed to extract the undersampled signals.

  • Patent number: 9617018
Abstract: The process validates measurement data that are consistent with the current orbit or allowable maneuvers for Earth-orbiting satellites. The validated data may be processed to detect both large and small maneuvers; large maneuvers that may have been rejected by standard data validation process and small maneuvers that may have been missed. Large maneuvers may present as “trends” in the residuals above the noise threshold from multiple sensors. Small maneuvers may present as a deviation from the expected orbit. The OD engine is suitably configured (as per normal operation) to enforce data reduction on any outliers (e.g. >3 sigma). The maneuver estimation routines employ an objective function for selection of maneuver estimates that combines a residual fit to the current orbit and maneuver, orbit consistency and a penalty for validated but unused data (data that is rejected by the OD engine).

  • Publication number: 20160059966
Abstract: A seating array for an aircraft cabin comprises a plurality of passenger modules. Each module is defined by first and second end walls, includes a seat assembly and an ottoman, and has at least one door assembly moveable from a stowed position to a deployed position. The end walls extend substantially transversely to a longitudinal centerline of the aircraft cabin and are connected by at least one sidewall which defines an entrance to the module. When in the deployed position, the doorway will at least partially obstruct the entrance. The ottoman is spaced in a longitudinal direction of the array from the seat assembly. Each module is wider adjacent the seat assembly than adjacent the ottoman. The plurality of passenger modules is divided into at least two columns of modules, each column including at least two modules, the at least two columns being separated by an aisle.

  • Patent number: 9208027
Abstract: Address error detection including a method that receives a read address corresponding to a read location in a memory. Data is read from the read location in the memory. The data is transformed at a computer based on the data and the read address to produce read data. Error correction codes (ECC) bits associated the read data are read from the read location in the memory. The ECC bits were generated based on the write data. It is determined whether the read data has an address error responsive to the read data and the ECC bits associated with the write data. An error is generated in response to determining that the read address has an address error.
