  • Publication number: 20220231538
Abstract: Multi-mode management systems are disclosed. Such systems include a first controller and a second controller. The first controller can be configured to control a power system. The second controller can have two modes. The second controller can be configured to, when in a first mode, estimate a state of the power system by monitoring communications between the first controller and the power system, and in response to satisfaction of a first condition, switch to the second mode. The second controller can be configured to, when in the second mode, disable communication between the first controller and the power system and control the power system based on the estimated state of the power system.

  • Patent number: 11379529
Abstract: Technology is disclosed for proactively enriching content of electronic communications through predicting user intents. User-composed content within an electronic communication is observed and used to predict one or more intents each associated with a task related to the communication and to be completed in creating the communication. Task-queries may be generated based on the detected intents and entities extracted from the user-composed content, contextual information, or other information related to the user, such as a user-knowledge database. User selection of a suggested task-query automatically executes the task-query, and the results are provided to the user. Each result may include an action involving adding content to or supplementing the content of the electronic communication. A conversational digital assistant may further be invoked to interact with the user to confirm and/or modify suggested task-queries and results of selected task-queries.

  • Patent number: 11253212
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the use of X-ray detector cassettes that may be abutted or overlapped to form a detector assembly suitable for imaging objects that are too large to image using a single X-ray detector cassette. Such a detector assembly may be customized in terms of the size and/or shape of the field-of-view (FOV). In certain embodiments the radiation-sensitive electronics (e.g., readout electronics) are positioned to the side of the X-ray detecting components (e.g., scintillator, TFT array, and so forth), allowing the cassette to be thin relative to other detector devices and allowing the electronics to remain outside the X-ray beam path.

  • Publication number: 20220048299
Abstract: A fixture for supporting an article (e.g., a guitar such as a Stratocaster® guitar body) and controlling the position of the article relative to a print head to allow a contoured portion of a surface of the article to be printed by the print head. The fixture may include a pivot axis about which the article is pivotal. A cam surface may be engaged by the article and/or a bracket of the fixture to which the article is affixed to prescribe the controlled movement of the article based on relative movement between the article and the print head. In turn, both planar and contoured portions of the guitar surface may be printed during a single print operation.

  • Publication number: 20220004540
Abstract: A computing device comprising a processor is configured to perform the techniques of this disclosure. The processor may duplicate a first node of a tree data structure to create a duplicate node, and create an inbound edge of the duplicate node to a parent node of the first node and an outbound edge to at least one child node of the first node. The processor may receive an update to the at least one child node of the first node. In response to determining that the at least one child node has multiple parent nodes, the processor may duplicate the at least one child node to create a duplicate child node, create an outbound edge of the duplicate node to the duplicate child node, delete the outbound edge of the duplicate node to the at least one child node, and perform the update to the at least one child node.

  • Publication number: 20220005555
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for digitizing a framework for clinical development. In one example, a computing device comprising a memory configured to store a study and a processor may be configured to perform the techniques. The processor may receive, from a user, an input specifying a plurality of trial elements for the study, and receive, from the user, an input arranging the plurality of trial elements into a tree data structure. The processor may also determine, based on the tree data structure of the plurality of trial elements, one or more trial arms for the study, each trial arm of the one or more trial arms comprising a single path between at least one trial element of the plurality of trial elements to at least one other trial element of the plurality of trial elements. The processor may further output, for display, the one or more trial arms for the study.

  • Patent number: 10827025
Abstract: Example implementations related to hyperconverged loads. In an example, a set of system characteristics is defined for a hyperconverged system. A plurality of components of an arbitrary workload running on a computing system are then separately modeled. The modeling converts the plurality of components into a plurality of respective hyperconverged loads. The plurality of respective hyperconverged loads are then allocated among a set of hyperconverged nodes that satisfies the set of system characteristics.
