Abstract: This invention relates to a method and system of operating an internet search engine with particular regard to granting permission to reproduce content from a web site. Also disclosed is a system for obtaining authority to copy content from a website accessible on an internet, as well as a method of granting permission for copying and reproduction of content from a website, and methods for licensing copying and reproduction.

Abstract: A remote processor (RP) adapted for use with a telephone system is provided according to one embodiment of the invention. The RP includes a communication interface capable of communicating with a service control point (SCP) of the telephone system and a processing system. The processing system is configured to present a troubleshooting graphical interface and present one or more troubleshooting tools to be used in troubleshooting RP operations and in troubleshooting RP interactions with the telephone system.

Abstract: A mobile toy having a plurality of compartments for containing persons. At least some of the compartments are sized to contain walking children. Each compartment is defined by a sidewall structure having a side opening for ingress and egress and each of the compartments is open at a top and at a bottom. The toy is further provided with means for suggesting an identity that stimulates a child's interest and includes structure for utilizing walking energy of persons within the compartments to cause the toy to move. The toy permits children to be organized for walking from one location to another while simultaneously enjoying a play experience.

Abstract: The present device is to be utilized in fundraising projects. It has a hollow frame which supports a plastic enclosure. The enclosure has an entrance which can be opened and closed. Once a participant enters the enclosure and closes the entrance, an air blower is activated. With activation of the blower, prize money is circulated within the enclosure, which the participant tries to catch.

Abstract: A transducer responsive to pressure or force, comprises a diaphragm secured around its periphery to the housing of the transducer and having a cup-shaped portion formed concentrically therein. Means are provided for applying, in use, a pressure or force to one surface of the diaphagm and means responsive to the resulting deflection of said diaphragm for providing an indication of the applied pressure or force. Strain gauges are mounted on an annular portion of the diaphragm which extends between the cup-shaped portion and the periphery of the diaphragm. An overload protection device may be provided to limit deflection of the diaphragm.

Abstract: The invention pertains to apparatus for forming elongated concrete structures, such as walls and the like, by slip forming. In particular, the invention is directed to the concept of slip forming walls of asymmetrical transverse cross section as required in the forming of highway barrier walls. The concrete slip form includes opposite sidewalls and open front and rear ends. At least one of the sidewalls is vertically adjustable wherein the sidewall configuration being formed thereby may have a height variance with respect to the opposite sidewall being formed. The form includes fixed wall portions associating with the adjustable wall portion and power means permit adjustment of the vertical adjustable wall. It is also within the scope of the invention to provide a form wherein both sidewalls are vertically adjustable, and the form includes means for introducing steel reinforcement into the formed wall, and periodically permitting accessory equipment to be embedded into the wall.

Abstract: Resin beads impregnated with magnetic powder, e.g. barium ferrite or .gamma.-iron oxide magnetically aligned and located discretely with respect to each other are formed by suspending the beads in a liquid while polymerizing the resin and subjecting the beads to an aligning magnetic field during a portion of the process of polymerization of the resin at which the resin viscosity is sufficient to permit rotation of the magnetic particles and yet sufficiently high to prevent lateral movement, and hence clumping of the magnetic particles, e.g. a molecular weight range of between 1,000 and 10,000 and a viscosity of between 5 and 50 poise.
