Abstract: A system and method for detecting and prevent identity theft attempts, such as phishing, vishing or other similar attacks is disclosed. A smart device, such as a smartphone operates in tandem with a biometric sensor, such as is included in a wearable device like a smartwatch or fitness tracker. The wearable tracks certain biometric and/or physiological data that can be used to identify whether the user is in a stressed state. The smart device then accesses usage logs that may indicate whether the stressed state is justified, such as whether the user had a calendar appointment at that time, or whether the call was received from a known contact etc. Justifications reduce the likelihood that the user's stress is a result of an identity theft attempt, whereas lack of justification increases the likelihood. In the latter scenario, the user is notified not to divulge sensitive information.

Abstract: In some embodiments, the present disclosure provides an exemplary method that may include steps of receiving a permission indicator identifying a permission by the first user to detect calls being received by the computing device; receiving an indication of a particular call being received from a second user at a particular phone number; detecting a triggering condition to verify when the particular phone number is associated with the particular entity; instructing the computing device to execute a computer routine to verify when the particular phone number is associated with the particular entity; receiving an indication from the computer routine when the particular phone number is not associated with the particular entity; instructing the computing device to perform at least one security action; and instructing to notify a second computing device associated with the particular entity with information pertaining to the particular call.

Abstract: Systems and methods for improved security authentication are disclosed. In some embodiments, an improved system for security authentication may include a plurality of computing devices, and a server system communicatively coupled to the plurality of computing devices. The server system may be configured to receive a request for security authentication, determine an authorization providing computing device from among the plurality of computer devices based on authentication preferences stored in a database communicatively coupled to the server system, generate and transmit authentication information to the determined authorization providing computing device, receive, from an initiating computing device an authentication input, determine whether the received authentication input matches the transmitted authentication information, and complete the request for security authentication when the received authentication input matches the generated and transmitted authentication information.

Abstract: A method of processing a virtual money order transaction includes establishing an account for a first user having a first user device and receiving from a second user device, a virtual money order purchase request identifying the first user as a payee, an amount, and payment information. A transfer of a payment amount from a second user account to a transaction processor account is processed and a virtual money order is generated with associated information accessible at a network address. A notification including the network address is transmitted to the first user device and a request to receive the money order information is received via the network address. Responsive to verification that the requester is authorized, the information is transmitted to the first user device. A redemption request is received and a transfer of the money order amount from the transaction data account to the redemption requester is processed.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for protecting a device from skill squatting by verifying the legitimacy of a skill to a user before operating the skill based on user instructions. Upon receiving an audio signal from a user to operate a skill on a device, the skill can retrieve unique and non-confidential information related to the user or the device, and further present the unique and non-confidential information to the user such that the information is used to verify the legitimacy of the skill. Upon a verification of the legitimacy of the skill, the user can operate the skill by voice or audio instructions.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described herein for manipulating a communication acceptance screen, manipulating an interactive communication acceptance icon, and restricting access to accounts based on voice communication parameters. In particular, when a communication is detected from one device to another device, that communication may be risky. Thus, the risk is mitigated by giving a user information about the source of the communication to give a user a chance to reject the communication. In addition, in instances where the user accepts the communication, the system enables monitoring the communication and restricting any accounts that are disclosed within the communication.

Abstract: In a method of controlling account user access to transaction information for a joint account, a set of control criteria is stored in a control database. Information for a new transaction is received and stored in a transaction information database. An information limitation request to prevent access to the transaction information by a second account user for a withholding time interval is received from a first account user. An access limitation record including identification of the second account user and the withholding time interval is stored in the information control database. Upon receiving from a second account user a request for account information including the transaction information, a determination may be made as to whether the transaction information should be withheld from the second account user. Responsive to a determination that the transaction information should be withheld, a response excluding the transaction information is transmitted to the second user device.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments pertain to protecting sensitive information. A browser extension associated with a web browser can detect a user entering information associated with the user into an electronic form. The browser extension can monitor the user entering sensitive information into the electronic form and detect that the user has entered sensitive information incorrectly. In response, the browser extension can provide a warning to the user that sensitive information has been incorrectly entered. Instructions can be displayed to a user on how incorrectly entered sensitive information is to be corrected. The incorrectly entered sensitive information is corrected based on a response from the user before the sensitive information propagates beyond the electronic form.

Abstract: Disclosed aspects pertain to predicting a likelihood that a user enters sensitive data inappropriately and mitigating such a risk. An electronic form is monitored for user interaction. Non-biometric behavior data can be received or otherwise acquired for the user. A machine learning model can be invoked to determine a likelihood that the user will input sensitive data inappropriately into a form field based on the similarity of user non-biometric behavior data with historic non-biometric behavior data. User assistance, such as a message or warning, can be initiated when the likelihood satisfies a predetermined threshold to mitigate the risk of input of sensitive data inappropriately. The field can also be monitored to detect the presence of inappropriate sensitive data. The user can be prompted to redact or remove the sensitive data if detected.

Distress in the callee can be determined through analysis of the biometrics or speech and comparison to reference biometrics or speech of the callee. An individual associated with the callee can be selected based on determining the distress in the customer. The individual can be contacted through a notification or a call to assist the callee in distress.

Abstract: Disclosed embodiments relate to addition of tags or keywords to metadata associated with sensitive data to aid in subsequent root cause analysis regarding incorrect entry of sensitive data. Sensitive data entered into an electronic form be identified. Next, context information can be collected regarding a user that entered the data. A machine learning model can be invoked that is trained to automatically determine a tag based on the context information and a confidence score associated with the tag. The tag can be added to metadata of a data string that includes the sensitive data. A data steward can be prompted to evaluate and correct the tag when the confidence score satisfies a predetermined threshold.

A similarity score based on the comparison result can then be established. It can be inferred that sensitive information was incorrectly entered into the electronic form when the similarity score satisfies a predetermined similarity threshold. The sensitive information can be identified, and a machine learning model can be triggered to generate a risk score based on the similarity score and the identified sensitive information. A user can be prompted to redact incorrectly entered sensitive information when the risk score satisfies a predetermined risk threshold.

The method may include receiving the telephone call from the source and receiving input from the recipient of the telephone call to answer the telephone call.
