Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes an image reading unit that reads image data corresponding to one line of an original document with a line period, a first transfer unit that transfers the image data, the image data being read by the image reading unit and being input to the first transfer unit, a transfer control unit that controls the first transfer unit to transfer the image data, and an image forming unit that forms an image on a medium on the basis of the image data transferred by the first transfer unit. The transfer control unit controls the first transfer unit to transfer the image data corresponding to one line of the original document every time when a predetermined time period passes which is shorter than a time length of the line period.

Abstract: An electromagnetic relay includes an electromagnet part, an actuating part, a contact part and a base for holding the electromagnet part, the actuating part and the contact part. The contact part includes a pair of fixed plates having one end fixed to the base and the other end to which a fixed contact is attached, a pair of movable springs having one end fixed to the base and the other end to which a movable contact is attached, and a connecting portion extending between the movable springs and electrically connecting the movable contacts to each other. The actuating part is actuated so as to press only a part of the movable springs inside an area defined between longitudinal axes extending between one end and the other end of the movable springs through the movable contact, when the contact part closes.

Abstract: Disclosed is a photocatalyst member including a glaze layer and a photoctalyst layer provided on the glaze layer, the photocatalyst layer is good in layer strength, water resistance, or abrasion resistance. More specifically, the photocatalyst member includes a base having a glaze layer and a photocatalyst layer that is provided on the glaze layer and contains titanium oxide and zirconium titanate, wherein the content of zirconium titanate in the photocatalyst layer is 15 to 75% by mass based on the total content of titanium oxide and zirconium titanate, and the content of zirconium titanate in an area from around an interface between the photocatalyst layer and the base to an median line in the thickness of the photocatalyst layer is larger than the content of zirconium titanate in an area near the external surface of the photocatalyst layer.

Abstract: Disclosed is a sanitary ware including a photocatalyst layer that has a high level of water resistance and abrasion resistance while maintaining a good photocatalytic activity. The sanitary ware includes a glaze layer and a photocatalyst layer provided on the glaze layer. The photocatalyst layer is an oxide film that is a co-fired product of a precursor of titanium oxide and a precursor of zirconium oxide and contains 65 to 90% by mass of titanium oxide and 10 to 35% by mass of zirconium oxide.

Abstract: A mobile electronic equipment includes a gyro sensor that detects an angular velocity, a first housing with the gyro sensor disposed therein, a second housing movably connected to the first housing, an angle formed between the respective housings being changed by movement of the first housing, and a control unit that calculates a change in an angle formed between the first housing and the second housing before and after the movement as a measured angle, based on output data of the gyro sensor. The control unit calculates a correction value for the output data of the gyro sensor based on the measured angle and a reference angle set in advance (see FIG. 1).

Abstract: In a mobile terminal of the present invention, when the finger of a user is approaching a touch panel, an estimation coordinate as a position of the finger and an estimation distance as a distance between the finger and the touch panel are determined based on a capacitance value between the finger and the touch panel, and capacitance distribution data showing a distribution of the capacitance values is generated. When the capacitance distribution data is similar to set capacitance distribution data, an object icon, which is arranged in the estimation coordinate, of a plurality of icons displayed on the touch panel is displayed on the touch panel in a size larger than in a basic size. In this way, only when detecting that the finger of the user is approaching the touch panel, the icon which is displayed on the touch panel is displayed in an expansion state. Therefore, a malfunction can be prevented and the improvement of operability can be attempted to the user.

Abstract: Provided is a paper-making machine belt (or a paper-making shoe-press belt), which is excellent in a wet-web water-squeezing property, which is stable in a paper quality (e.g., wet-web smoothness or marking property), and which has little damage (e.g., cracking or wear) of the outer circumference of the belt being used. The paper-making shoe-press belt carries a felt for accepting the squeezed water from the wet-web and has draining grooves extended in the felt-side surface. The paper-making shoe-press belt is characterized in that the draining grooves extended in the felt-side surface have at least two kinds of different groove shapes in the transverse direction (or the CMD direction) of the paper-making machine. The groove shape enables the grooves of two continuous and discontinuous kinds to share the functions thereby to satisfy the improvements in the drainage and in the paper quality and the wet-web surface smoothness at the same time.
