  • Patent number: 11105168
Abstract: A dissolvable pressure barrier comprises a body having metallic dissolvable components, a power source, and a connector that is shiftable from a first position to a second position when a pressure greater than a predetermined load is applied to the pressure barrier. In the first position, the connector is electrically insulated from the power source. In the second position, the connector is in electrical communication with the power source, the metallic dissolvable components, and the casing of the wellbore, thereby forming an electric circuit wherein a voltage is provided by the power source and the dissolution of the pressure barrier is accelerated by an anodic process. The metallic dissolvable components may be coated with a low activity metal to assist with the dissolution process.

  • Patent number: 11061923
Abstract: A method implements a virtual machine for interactive visual analysis. The method receives a data visualization data flow graph, which is a directed graph including data nodes and transform nodes. Each transform node specifies a set of inputs for retrieval, where each input corresponds to a data node. Each transform node also specifies a transform operator, which identifies an operation to be performed on the inputs. Some transform nodes specify (a) a set of outputs corresponding to respective data nodes and (b) a function for use in performing the operation of the transform node. The method traverses the data flow graph according to directions of arcs between nodes in the data flow graph, thereby retrieving data corresponding to each data node and executing the respective transformation operator specified for each of the transform nodes. This generates a data visualization according to transform nodes that specify graphical rendering.

  • Patent number: 11048714
Abstract: A method generates a graphical representation of a data source. The method generates and displays a graphical user interface on a computer display. The graphical user interface includes a schema information region and a data visualization region. The schema information region includes: (i) multiple field names, each field name associated with a data field, and (ii) one or more relationship names, each relationship name associated with a relation between rows of the data source. The data visualization region includes a connector shelf. The method detects user input to associate a field name or relationship name from the schema information region with the connector shelf. The method then generates and displays, in the data visualization region, a visual graphic including visual marks corresponding to rows from the data source and connectors between the visual marks according to field names and relationship names associated with the connector shelf.

  • Publication number: 20210141831
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to visualizing data using a graphical user interface (GUI) that may include a graph panel and a visualization panel arranged to receive inputs or interactions. A data model may be provided and displayed in the visualization panel. Input information that specifies portions of the data model may be provided to the visualization panel. Transform models may be determined based on the specified portions of the data model such that the determined transform models include a model interface that accepts the input information. The transform models may be employed to generate graph objects based on the data model, the input information such that the graph objects may be included in a graph model. Queries based on the graph model may be executed to provide results from the data model such that the results may be displayed in a visualization.

  • Publication number: 20210006128
Abstract: An electric motor assembly includes a stator, a rotor, a motor housing, a rotatable shaft, a radial fan, and an air scoop. The motor housing at least partly houses the stator and rotor and presents an exterior motor surface. The rotatable shaft is associated with the rotor for rotational movement therewith, with the rotatable shaft extending along a rotational axis. The radial fan is mounted on the rotatable shaft exteriorly of the motor housing and is rotatable with the shaft to direct airflow in a radially outward direction. The air scoop extends radially outwardly relative to the radial fan and axially to receive radial airflow from the radial fan and turn the airflow axially to flow along the exterior motor surface. The air scoop includes spaced apart axially extending airflow vanes to guide the airflow as the airflow is turned axially.

  • Patent number: 10706061
Abstract: A method sorts data in data visualizations. The method is performed at a computing device having one or more processors and memory. The method retrieves a set of tuples from a database according to user selection. Each tuple includes a same set of fields. The method identifies a relation between tuples. The relation is a non-empty set of ordered pairs of tuples from the set of tuples. The method receives user selection of the relation to specify a dimensional position of visual marks corresponding to the tuples. The dimensional position is either the x-position of the y-position. The method generates and displays a data visualization with each tuple represented by a visible mark. The dimensional position of each displayed visual mark is based on a network traversal of the tuples using the relation.

  • Publication number: 20200153313
Abstract: A motor includes a shaft presenting a shaft lead end, a switch assembly including a switch arm shiftable between a first position and a second position, and shield structure. The shaft lead end and the switch assembly are disposed axially outward of an endhsield. The shield structure is disposed axially outward of the switch arm to at least substantially restrict direct tool access to the switch arm from an axially outward position relative to the switch arm. The shield structure at least in part defines first and second tool access channels each extending radially inwardly to the shaft lead end, such that the shield structure enables direct tool access to the shaft lead end via the tool access channels but prevents or at least substantially restricts direct tool access to the switch arm via the tool access channels.

  • Publication number: 20200095845
Abstract: A port assembly for controlling fluid flow through a flow port of a port sub. The port assembly comprises a dissolvable barrier, a burst disk for protecting the dissolvable barrier from fluids inside the port sub, and optionally a protective layer for protecting the dissolvable barrier from external fluids. When the burst disk is ruptured by increased fluid pressure inside the port sub, the dissolvable barrier starts disintegrating from exposure to the fluid. When the dissolvable barrier and protective layer are broken through, a flow passage is opened in the port assembly to permit fluid flow therethrough. The flow passage may be positioned tangentially in the port sub. The breakthrough time of the dissolvable barrier may be preconfigured by providing one or more thinner areas therein and/or placing a corrosive material in the port assembly.

  • Publication number: 20200078177
Abstract: A component of an artificial joint according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, inter alia, a hollow tube including bone ingrowth material. Further, the hollow tube is selectively expandable. The bone ingrowth material allows the component to become biologically fixed to adjacent bone. Further, expansion of the hollow tube increases friction between the hollow tube and the adjacent bone, which increases stability.
