  • Publication number: 20210119982
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer readable media for implementing bandwidth limitations on specific application traffic at a proxy element are disclosed. One exemplary method includes receiving, at a proxy element, a packet flow from at least one source client, identifying encrypted packets associated with a specific application traffic type from among the packet flow, and directing the identified encrypted packets to a bandwidth limiter in the proxy element. The method further includes applying a bandwidth limitation operation to the identified encrypted packets and decrypting the identified encrypted packets if an accumulated amount of payload bytes of the identified encrypted packets complies with the parameters of the bandwidth limitation operation.

  • Patent number: 10959062
Abstract: A system and method for sending notifications of audio tone sequences to users in a push-to-talk over cellular communication system, including: decoding an audio transmission in a PTT (push to talk) server or in a PTT client, identifying audio tone sequences in the audio transmission, and sending from the PTT server or from the PTT client notifications of the identified specific audio tone sequences to users of cellular mobile devices, computers, and two-way radio communication devices. The notification may be a text message to a predefined PTT group, a delayed buffered replay of the audio transmission, the specific audio tone sequences with the audio transmission before and after the specific audio tone sequences; or an emergency alert sent to predefined members of a PTT group, or a combination thereof.

  • Publication number: 20200407063
Abstract: Web pretensioning system devices for increasing the amount of web retracted by a given pretensioning stroke are disclosed. In some embodiments, the disclosed web pretensioning systems can include a pretension multiplier configured to receive a web of an aircraft passenger seat occupant restraint system. The pretension multiplier can include a web guide and a web coupling that is operably connected to a pretensioner. In operation, the pretensioner rapidly pulls or otherwise moves the web coupling away from the web guide a first distance, thereby retracting a loop of the web through the web guide. As a result of retracting the loop of web through the web guide, the overall retracted length of the web is equal to a second distance that is greater than the first distance.

  • Publication number: 20200290545
Abstract: Airbag systems for use in aircraft are described herein. In some embodiments, an occupant restraint system for use with a passenger seat on an aircraft includes an under-seat airbag and a lap belt airbag. The lap belt airbag can be operably positioned on a lap belt configured to be fastened around a seat occupant, and the under-seat airbag can be positioned proximate to a seat pan. In operation, the under-seat airbag and the lap belt airbag can inflate simultaneously, or at least approximately simultaneously, to reduce occupant forward head path excursion during a crash or other rapid deceleration event.

  • Patent number: 10760095
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of plant breeding. More specifically, the present invention includes a method of using haploid plants for genetic mapping of traits of interest such as disease resistance. • Patent number: 10715414
Abstract: The present invention includes various novel systems and methods for communication in a network. A System Environment Monitor is employed in some embodiments to extract from the network both real-time and historical Network Metrics at the Infrastructure Layer, as well as Application Metadata at the Application Layer. Network analytics facilitate decisions based upon the differing characteristics of Application Components and lower-level hardware components across multiple DTTs. In response, an SDN Controller generates modified sets of SDN Flows, and implements them in real time across a mixed technology (multi-DTT) network in a manner that avoids disrupting existing SDN Flows and other real-time network traffic.

  • Patent number: 10681506
Abstract: Embodiments include a push-to-talk over cellular (PTToC) communication system and method having one or more push-to-talk (PTT) servers that control all PTT functionality for a set of users for receiving and transmitting audio communication over the Internet. A software defined radio (SDR) system is connected to the PTT server by means of a gateway and an internet gateway connection. The SDR system has software in a central processing unit which perform basic radio, audio frequency, and Internet networking functions, wide area connection, and routing functions that map radio channels to PTT talk groups by means of a radio channel routing table. The gateway adapts digitized audio between the SDR system and the PTT server and has a management application program interface client used by a central management entity to control the SDR system.

  • Patent number: 10635540
Abstract: Save and synchronization status information is provided. The save and synchronization status information may be concise yet informative to a user and may provide an indication of the current save state of the document: “saved,” “dirty,” or “saving.” The indication of the current save state may be displayed in a consistent and reliable spot such that the user may reliably know where to look to find the document's save status. Other save states may be included, such as offline or error. The indication may be selectable, such that when selected, the user may see additional save and synchronization status detail, and may be enabled to rename the document.

  • Publication number: 20200101485
Abstract: A coating apparatus for a moving web that employs a spreader roller in the upweb position in a tensioned-web-over-slot die coater. The spreader roller can help spread webs laterally in a web processing operation, in particular to reduce or remove the presence of wrinkles or bagginess in the web. The spreader roller can be a reverse crown roll that is covered with a resilient material to assist spreading the web to remove wrinkles. The surface curvature of the spreader roller can be formed using layers of material such as a tape, to easily and readily approximate the shape of a reverse crown roll.

  • Publication number: 20190226149
Abstract: A dispersible wet wipe includes a layer of cellulosic fibers. In one embodiment, a first binder is applied in a coating N comprising randomly distributed deposits of the binder. A second binder is applied in an intermittent pattern on the surface to define first regions on the surface that include first binder but no second binder and to define second regions on the surface that include both first binder and second binder. The first and second binders can have the same chemical composition. In a second embodiment, a first binder is applied to a web surface in a first pattern, and, after applying the first binder, a second binder is applied to the web surface in a second pattern that is different than the first pattern. In a third embodiment, a binder is applied to a web surface in a pattern, the pattern having first regions and second regions, wherein the add-on level of the binder in the first regions is lower than the add-on level of the binder in the second regions.

  • Publication number: 20190155456
Abstract: Aspects of a system for automatically managing a pane in a user interface on a small form factor computing device include an adaptive pane module for determining when an event that affects the canvas size occurs, such as changing the display configuration or reorienting the display, which in turn affects pane management, or the opening or closing of a pane. The adaptive pane module manages the pane. After managing the pane, the system resizes the canvas and reflows the content as appropriate for a small form factor computing device.
