    Abstract: A light emitting device includes a plurality of light emitting modules and a plurality of voltage controlling circuits capable of being independently controlled. Each voltage controlling circuit includes a dynamic voltage controlling module, a current controlling module, and a luminance controlling module. The dynamic voltage controlling module is used for comparing a voltage level at a second terminal of the light emitting module and a voltage level of a reference voltage source, so as to output a first voltage. The current controlling module is used for adjusting a bias current flowing through the light emitting module, according to the first voltage. The luminance controlling module is used for comparing the first voltage with a clock signal, and for generating a pulse width modulation signal according to a result of the comparison, so as to dynamically control a duty cycle of the light emitting module.

    Abstract: A LED driving method includes steps of: providing a first pulse width modulation (PWM) signal for determining a brightness of a LED; obtaining a duty cycle of the first PWM signal; and selectively enabling the LED to work with a PWM dimming mode or a direct current (DC) dimming mode according to a relative relationship between a magnitude of the obtained duty cycle and a preset threshold value. Since the LED is performed with a two stage brightness control by use of mixed dimming mode, the driving efficiency of the LED can be improved.

    Abstract: An LCD gate driver circuitry having a control circuit to adjust the driving current according to a bias control signal, wherein the control circuit comprises a plurality of PMOS switching elements connected in parallel and a plurality of NMOS switching elements connected in parallel. These switching elements form a plurality of PMOS/NMOS switching element pairs. Each of the pairs serves as a current booster stage in the gate driver circuitry. The “ON”/“OFF” state of each switching element pair is controlled by a separate bias signal so that the switching element pairs can be selectively turned on in order to adjust the driver current as needed. As such, the same gate driver circuitry can be used with different LCD panels.
