    Abstract: An integrated circuit (IC) module for data transmission and a method for the same are disclosed. According to the present invention, the connection is such that in the module a plurality of ICs is electrically connected to a plurality of transmission lines for transmitting data. The module further includes a stagger device for making data to be transmitted via the transmission lines asynchronously. The stagger device causes different delays for the respective transmission lines, so as to avoid the over transient current being generated in the module.

The plurality of first switch units coupled electrically to the processing unit, are used for conducting the data signal to the plurality of pixel units when the power switching signal is at a first state. The display panel includes a plurality of signal lines for signal transmission. The driving circuit is coupled to the display panel for generating driving signals to a signal line of the display panel based on a control signal and a corresponding compensating signal. Data related to each signal line and its corresponding compensating signal is stored in the storage unit. The compensating circuit, coupled to the storage unit and the driving circuit, receives the compensating signal from the storage unit and sends the compensating signal to the driving circuit.

    Abstract: An LCD gate driver circuitry having a control circuit to adjust the driving current according to a bias control signal, wherein the control circuit comprises a plurality of PMOS switching elements connected in parallel and a plurality of NMOS switching elements connected in parallel. These switching elements form a plurality of PMOS/NMOS switching element pairs. Each of the pairs serves as a current booster stage in the gate driver circuitry. The “ON”/“OFF” state of each switching element pair is controlled by a separate bias signal so that the switching element pairs can be selectively turned on in order to adjust the driver current as needed. As such, the same gate driver circuitry can be used with different LCD panels.

    Abstract: A dual-CPU computer-based multimedia system is provided, including a computer connected to a multimedia playing control module. The multimedia playing control module has a second CPU connected to the computer through a bus, a multimedia activation and playing system memory connected to the second CPU and storing a second operating system and a kernel program, and at least a hotkey, connected to the second CPU through a hotkey interface circuit, with each hotkey corresponding to a multimedia player. When the second PCU detects any hotkey being operated, the second PCU loads the kernel of the second operating system from the multimedia activation and playing system memory and executes the kernel. Then, the second CPU loads and executes the driver and the application program for the multimedia player corresponding to the operated hotkey.

    Abstract: A method for fast activation and playing of multimedia data from a data disk with pre-installed operating system is provided. A boot sector of the data disk is pre-installed with a selected operating system for activating the computer. The data disk also stores a multimedia playing application program and multimedia data. When the computer is turned on, the computer uses the data disk as an activation device, and loads and executes the operating system in the data disk. Then, the computer executes the multimedia playing application program to read the multimedia data in the data disk. The system memory of the computer is configured with a random access memory region for the space required for executing the operating system and the multimedia playing application program.
