  • Publication number: 20110321132
Abstract: A system, method, and Policy Engine for granting a first user temporary access to a second user's electronic content. The Policy Engine receives a request originating from the first user to access the second user's content, and retrieves from a relationship database, relationship information regarding a relationship between the two users. If an access rule matching the relationship information is stored in the Policy Engine, the Policy Engine applies the access rule to control access by the first user for a period of time specified in the rule. If an access rule is not stored, the Policy Engine obtains the access rule from the second user. The Policy Engine allows access when the matching rule grants access and the matching rule has not expired, and denies access when there is no matching rule, when the matching rule does not allow access, or when the matching rule has expired.

  • Patent number: 7426781
Abstract: A placement unit for mounting electric components onto substrates has means for moving perpendicularly to the substrate, a housing, a built-in, rotatable holder for the components, and a rotary drive for the holder mounted within the housing. The holder is connected via an axially elastic coupling to the rotary drive in a manner which is at least temporarily torsionally rigid, wherein the coupling includes a separable coupling having coupling elements arranged to be uncoupled in an axial direction. The holder is pre-stressed axially toward the component against the rotary drive by an adjustable pressure device, wherein the coupling surfaces of the coupling elements form an axial stop for the holder, and wherein the coupling surfaces separate from one another by an axial application force that acts on the holder and prevails over the axial pre-stress.

  • Publication number: 20060242821
Abstract: The invention relates to a placement unit including a rotatable holder for electric components that can be placed on a substrate. The holder is connected to a rotary drive of the placement device by a separable coupling which includes coupling elements that can be uncoupled in an axial direction. When the component is placed on the substrate, the coupling is completely separated, thus uncoupling the holder fully from the rotary drive. The holder is prestressed axially towards the component against the rotary drive by an adjustable pressure device, the coupling surfaces separating from one another by an axial application force that acts on the holder and prevails over the axial pre-stress. The application force can thus be adjusted individually in a more precise manner for different components.

  • Publication number: 20050094753
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and a device for setting an electrical filter comprising a predeterminable number of distributed filter elements, e.g. short-circuited lines, resonators, impedances, etc., exhibiting tolerances, so that the actual filter characteristic curve does not correspond to the theoretical filter characteristic curve, a pulse having a predeterminable centre frequency (f0) firstly being applied to the filter and then the individual filter elements being tuned on the basis of the impulse response (UA) of the filter. The filter elements are advantageously tuned progressively, starting from the input port (1) of the filter.

  • Patent number: 6870622
Abstract: A method and device are for monitoring electric components in a pick-and-place device for substrates. The underside of a pick-up is monitored by an optical scanner during the pick-up phase and during the placing phase of a component. A lift drive for the pick-up is provided with a position sensor that is linked with a control device. The scanner emits and receives a scanning beam oriented transversally to the direction of lift and is likewise coupled with the control device, thereby allowing monitoring of the underside of the pick-up in a direct time-related manner with the picking and placing of the component. The various lift positions are saved and compared when a threshold value of the received scanning beam is exceeded so that the inventive device also allows for a monitoring of the height of the component.

  • Patent number: 6856142
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for determining and/or monitoring filling of a product or the position of the boundary surface between two media or phases in a container. The device comprises a signal generating unit that generates high-frequency measuring signals, an injection unit and a surface waveguide, wherein the measuring signals are injected into the surface waveguide by means of the injection unit and directed toward the filling product via the surface waveguide. The device also comprises a receiver/evaluation unit, which directly or indirectly determines filling of the product or the position of the boundary surface in the container during the running time of the measuring signals reflected on the surface or boundary surface of the filling product. The invention aims at providing a device which is configured in such a way that parasitic voltages are effectively diverted. This is achieved in that the surface waveguide is connected to a frame potential by means of a coupling.

  • Publication number: 20050019146
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for selectively displacing at least two holding devices which can be individually displaced along a z-axis by means of a central z-drive and by a selective magnetic coupling to a common lifting element. The exclusively magnetic coupling between the holding devices and the lifting element ensures a largely bounce-free displacement of the coupled holding devices, during the corresponding shock-free displacement of the lifting element. The coupling is especially advantageous during the transport of components as the bounce-free displacement from falling or sliding. The invention also relates to a fitting head for transporting a plurality of components, the holding devices being arranged along a line or on grid points of a two dimensional grid. The holding devices can be individually coupled to the movement of a common lifting element.

  • Patent number: 6727845
Abstract: The invention relates to a device for emitting high-frequency signals, comprising a signal generation unit, a signaling line, an emission cable and an antenna configured as a circular waveguide, said antenna being sealed in an end section by a rear wall. According to the invention, the signal generation unit creates the high-frequency signals, the signaling line conducts the high-frequency signals along the emission cable and said emission cable projects into the interior of the antenna and is positioned approximately parallel to the rear wall. The invention aims to provide a device for emitting electromagnetic waves, which is characterized by optimized emission characteristics. To achieve this, the distance (Z) between the emission cable and the rear wall of the antenna is approximately &lgr;/6, whereby &lgr; is the wavelength of the high-frequency signals borne by the antenna.
