Abstract: A simulated mouse toy having a prerecorded sound chip therein is provided which emits a prerecorded sound upon physical movement, such as when swatted, rolled or carried, to encourage pets to continue to play. An illumination device, such as luminescent or chemiluminescent coatings or light emitting diodes (LED's) are operatively connected in conjunction the prerecorded sound chip to simultaneously provide a blinking visual stimulation.

A series of ribs interstitial spaces there between are concentrically disposed about a central axis of the bores. A thin and laterally elongated body member forms a resilient, thin walled body circumscribing the bores such that said thin wall is capable of generating a resilient, springing action.

Abstract: A coded pet specific proximity sensor incorporates a specific coded sensor or transmitter which is removably worn by or attached to a pet. The sensor limits or encourages access of the pet to certain pet items, such as feeding dishes, pet doors, litter boxes, pet toys, pet beds, etc. These pet items comprises corresponding tags which read when the pet is in proximity of them. The sensors can be preprogrammed to let pets access these items at certain times of day only or they can be individually coded to let only certain pets access them in multiple-pet homes.

Abstract: A removable serving lid is provided that sealingly covers the opening of a pet food can. A sealing sidewall extending downward form a flexible lid cover circumscribes the upper opening of a pet food can, and thereby forms an air-tight seal. The flexible material is designed to apply and remove easily, even when cold such as to accommodate refrigeration of any un-dispensed contents of a pet food can. A gripping flange extending laterally outward from the perimeter of the sidewall provides a gripping surface to facilitate removal of the sealed lid. Finally, an adjustable scoop is perpendicularly disposed through the flexible lid cover through a scoop aperture that seals against the handle of the scoop, maintaining a sealed environment even as the sloop is vertically adjusted into the contents of the food can.

Abstract: The present invention generally relates to a pet toy and, more specifically, to a pet toy that is removably secured to a home fixture such that a retraction mechanism delivers an opposing force that reels the toy inward, thus interactively challenging the pet. The instant abstract is neither intended to define the invention disclosed in this specification nor intended to limit the scope of the invention in any way.

Abstract: An automated cat litter box comprising self-scooping mechanisms on a scooping carriage assembly at one end of a litter pan. The scooping carriage contains therein a waste drawer having a removable tray covered in lining. The tray travels with the carriage to the opposing end of the litter so that a grate can flip backwards to shovel collected waste into the waste drawer.

Abstract: A pet chew toy for holding consumable treats comprises a body member having a plurality or ribs and a plurality of interstitial spaces formed between the ribs. The ribs and spaces cooperatively act to impinge a treat or treats inserted therein. The ribs and spaces may be disposed substantially parallel to the direction of the bore and a central axis, or may be disposed helically about the bore. The bore may be enclosed at one or both ends by threaded caps, heat bonded caps, or a combination thereof. A sound module may be provided within the bore for emitting a prerecorded or mechanically generated sound upon activation of the sound module.

Abstract: A cat litter product is provided and includes manufacture primarily from modified corn starch which is processed through mash distillation. The litter product is pelletized via an extrusion technology process so as to form particles the size of wheat grain. The litter product provides, collectively, a non-toxic and naturally safe, biodegradable, odor-eliminating, scented, anti-bacterial litter that clumps in a convenient size for easy disposal and which has little dust and reduces tracking by cats.

Abstract: A tossable pet toy is provided in either an annular or disc shape. The ring or disc comprises a perimeter having an inner rib and an outer rib, the ribs forming an interstitial space therebetween for holding a consumable pet treat. The inner rib is a single, continuous rib circumscribing the innermost portion of the ring. The outer rib is a single, continuous rib circumscribing the outermost portion of the ring. The inner rib and outer rib are concentric, with the outer rib having a greater circumferential distance than the inner rib. The interstitial space formed between the ribs is likewise a single, continuous space circumscribing the area between the ribs. The space accommodates the placement of at least one treat, and may accommodate a plurality of treats along the circumference of the ring.

Abstract: A chew toy has a bone portion impregnated with a soft solid along an interior thereof to simulate the taste and texture of bone marrow, and has a meat portion impregnated with liquid to simulate the taste of meat. The bone portion is defined by an elongated shaft terminating at opposite ends. A first terminal end and a second terminal end of the shaft are defined by a pair of condyles, or in the alternative, by a rounded body. The elongated shaft is defined by a narrow middle portion and widening at a first terminal end and a second terminal end. The meat portion circumscribes a terminal end the bone portion. The meat portion further extends toward a middle portion of a shaft of the bone portion, wherein a sufficient quantity of the bone portion is available for use by a canine.

Abstract: A dog feeding table having an elevated dog feeding table which incorporates an increased aesthetic appearance. A plastic molded base is provided with a choice of finishes to match kitchen decor. Further, the base incorporating a raised ridge around its circumference with a raised lip around the bowl openings to prevent water or food from falling. Legs can be added by force-fit into receptacles molded into the base and a wooden shelf can rest on top of the base to hold the feeding bowls.
