The ring or disc comprises a perimeter having an inner rib and an outer rib, the ribs forming an interstitial space therebetween for holding a consumable pet treat. The inner rib is a single, continuous rib circumscribing the innermost portion of the ring. The outer rib is a single, continuous rib circumscribing the outermost portion of the ring. The inner rib and outer rib are concentric, with the outer rib having a greater circumferential distance than the inner rib. The interstitial space formed between the ribs is likewise a single, continuous space circumscribing the area between the ribs. The space accommodates the placement of at least one treat, and may accommodate a plurality of treats along the circumference of the ring.

Abstract: A chew toy comprises a generally spherical body having a plurality of circumferential channels for receiving and housing a plurality of rings therein. The plurality of channels are formed in an exterior circumferential surface of the body. The plurality of channels are formed parallel, perpendicular or diagonally to a central axis of the body. Each of the plurality of rings is defined by a toroidal form, each of the plurality of rings snap-fit into a corresponding one of the plurality of channels. Each one of the plurality of rings comprises a tasteful flavor appealing and attractive to a canine. Each one of the plurality of rings comprises a pleasant and appealing scent attractive to a canine.

Abstract: A food and/or treat dispenser comprises an enclosed container having at least one aperture for insertion and dispensing of food stored therein. The dispenser comprises a top portion, a base portion and a central portion therebetween, wherein at least one aperture is provided in the top or base portion. The aperture is selectively openable and returnably resilient. A plurality of ribs are provided to facilitate selective opening of the aperture. The top and base portions include a perimeter encircling a concavity, the perimeter of a relatively flat configuration so that the top and/or base portions are positionable in a free standing configuration on a flat or planar surface. The dispenser may also include a variety of means for securing the dispenser to varying objects during transport or storage.

A sound module may be provided within the bore for emitting a prerecorded or mechanically generated sound upon activation of the sound module.

Abstract: A toy is provided that includes a clear plastic ball to be readily movable along a supportive surface, such as the ground. Within the ball there is located a motorized character assembly. The character assembly has an upper housing cover in the form of a mouse or other rodent that would visually trigger an instinctive response in a cat or some breeds of (hunting) dogs. Beneath the upper housing cover is a motor which operates a drive wheel assembly. The drive wheel assembly is to be in continuous contact with the inner surface of the ball. The wheels further are made of soft rubber that does not slide in the internal ball surface, but rather causes the ball to roll and be propelled forward.

The litter product is pelletized via an extrusion technology process so as to form particles the size of wheat grain. The litter product provides, collectively, a non-toxic and naturally safe, biodegradable, odor-eliminating, scented, anti-bacterial litter that clumps in a convenient size for easy disposal and which has little dust and reduces tracking by cats.

The base portion includes a selectively openable self-closing second aperture to allow food or treats to be removed from the integral one-piece enclosed container. Preferably, the top portion also includes a selectively openable self-closing first aperture to allow food or treats to be inserted through the first aperture into the enclosed container.

Abstract: An apparatus for scooping and sifting cat litter is provided having a handle depending from an enclosure. The handle is tapered to provide a comfortable and easily used handle for grasping and using the scoop. The enclosure is significantly wider than the handle, thus providing sufficient space for the placement of wasted cat litter clumps therein. The enclosure includes a mouth permitting ingress and egress of waster cat litter clumps and excess cat litter. The enclosure also includes a solid portion and a grated portion. The grate portion includes a plurality of slots and a plurality of ribs alternately placed therebetween. The slots permit excess cat litter to filter therethrough.
