  • Patent number: 6891331
Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for manufacturing electrodes that can effectively suppress edge-curl when metal electrodes such as bus electrodes and data electrodes are patterned mainly by a photolithography method. In order to achieve the above object, in the manufacturing method in the present invention, an amount of undercut generated by difference in a degree of dissolution caused by developing solution is controlled, and baking is performed at a temperature such that glass in a protrusion formed at side edges becomes soft so as to touch a substrate by gravity. With such method for manufacturing, it becomes possible to make the side edges rounded whose curvature changes continuously.

  • Publication number: 20050097496
Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to provide a high-speed and low-power logical unit formed of a master slice integrated circuit, which offers advantages of reducing the cost and time required for designing masks, and in which a faster operation can be achieved while consuming low power by controlling the operation mode of each logical device forming the logical unit according to the operating state of the corresponding logical device. The high-speed and low-power logical unit comprises a plurality of logical devices including control-voltage input terminals for controlling operation modes, a voltage supply circuit for generating a plurality of different control voltages; and a wiring pattern for supplying a control voltage from the voltage supply circuit for controlling each of the logical devices to operate in an operation mode determined according to an operation of the corresponding transistor to the control-voltage input terminal of the corresponding logical device.

  • Publication number: 20050086953
Abstract: During the period of deceleration of a vehicle, an air conditioning control unit modifies a target cooling temperature (TEO) of an evaporator to a temperature lower than that before the deceleration by ? ° C. in order to store cold in the evaporator (step S130). When the vehicle comes to rest, the air conditioning control unit sets an upwardly-modified target temperature TEOK, which is a temperature modified toward more or less higher temperatures from the target cooling temperature TEO, and brings a compressor to rest and keeps the resting state of the compressor until a detected temperature TE of an evaporator discharge temperature sensor exceeds TEOK (step S180). Therefore, it is possible to effectively utilize the cold heat stored in the evaporator 6 during the period of deceleration of the vehicle with a good feeling of passengers being maintained while the vehicle is at rest.

  • Publication number: 20050066669
Abstract: In a vehicle air conditioner having a variable displacement compressor, a control unit calculates a target cooling temperature of air to be cooled by an evaporator, and controls a discharge capacity of the compressor such that a detected air temperature of the evaporator approaches the target cooling temperature. When a deceleration running state of the vehicle is detected, the control unit sets a corrected target cooling temperature lower than the target cooling temperature by a predetermined temperature, and controls the discharge capacity of the compressor such that the detected air temperature approaches the corrected target cooling temperature when the detected air temperature is lower than the corrected target cooling temperature, or controls the discharge capacity of the compressor approximately at the maximum capacity regardless of the corrected target cooling temperature when the detected air temperature is not lower than the corrected target cooling temperature.

  • Patent number: 6869751
Abstract: A manufacturing method for a metal electrode used for a bus electrode, a data electrode, and the like which make up a display panel including a PDP (Plasma Display Panel) by which, when these electrodes are patterned according to a photolithographic method, the edge curl phenomenon can be substantially controlled to the extent that the phenomenon is negligible. The manufacturing method of the invention therefore includes a dry step for drying the layers making up the metal electrode so that flows (F1, F2, and F3) of the solvent occur from a region having a high absorbency of the solvent to a region having a lower absorbency of the solvent.

  • Patent number: 6425698
Abstract: A camera shutter has a set of opening shutter blades and a set of closing shutter blades. A shutter driver mechanism alternately displaces the opening and closing shutter blades to a first position wherein the blades are fanned-out and cover a shutter opening and a second position wherein the blades are retracted and do not cover the shutter opening. The shutter driver mechanism has an engaging pawl having a lower protrusion that pushes an upper protrusion on the top surface of an arm that supports the shutter blades when they are in the first position to thereby urge the shutter blades into intimate contact with each other. Prior to the start of an exposure, the lower protrusion stops pushing the upper protrusion so that the shutter blades can move freely during an exposure operation.
