  • Patent number: 7362345
Abstract: A printer includes a conveyance mechanism capable of conveying a long recording medium in a first direction from a supply unit storing therein the recording medium, toward an image recording unit capable of recording a color image on the recording medium, and in a second direction reverse to the first direction, with opposing the recording medium to the image recording unit. The conveyance mechanism is controlled to convey the recording medium in the first direction until a leading edge of the recording medium reaches a position distant in the first direction from the image recording unit, and then convey the recording medium in the second direction. The image recording unit is controlled to record frames of color images on the recording medium being conveyed in the second direction by the conveyance mechanism.

  • Patent number: 7280184
Abstract: An adjusting method of an optical system composed plural optical elements each having a multilayer film, said adjusting method that includes a first measuring step that obtains, for each optical element, a difference between a phase distribution of which an EUV light (Extreme Ultraviolet light) is reflected from the optical element and a phase distribution of which a light with a wavelength that is longer than the EUV light is reflected from the optical element, a second measuring step that measures a phase distribution of which the light passes the optical system, a deciding step that decides a phase distribution of which the EUV light passes through the optical system based on the phase distribution difference obtained by the first measuring step and the phase distribution measured by the second measuring step, and an adjusting step that adjusts at least one of a position and a posture of the optical element based on the phase distribution decided by the deciding step.

  • Patent number: 7224066
Abstract: A circuit device is provided in which the bonding reliability of a brazing material such as soft solder is improved. A circuit device of the present invention includes conductive patterns, a bonding material which fixes circuit elements to the conductive patterns, and sealing resin which covers the circuit elements. The circuit device has a structure in which Pb-free solder containing Bi is used as the bonding material. Since the melting temperature of Bi is high in comparison with that of a general solder, the melting of the bonding material is suppressed when the circuit device is mounted. Further, Ag or the like may be mixed into the bonding material in order to enhance the wettability of the bonding material.
