  • Publication number: 20210279870
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses for detecting and describing heterogeneity in a cell sample are disclosed herein. A plurality of fields of view (FOV) are generated for one or more areas of interest (AOI) within an image of the cell sample are generated. Hyperspectral or multispectral data from each FOV is organized into an image stack containing one or more z-layers, with each z-layer containing intensity data for a single marker at each pixel in the FOV. A cluster analysis is applied to the image stacks, wherein the clustering algorithm groups pixels having a similar ratio of detectable marker intensity across layers of the z-axis, thereby generating a plurality of clusters having similar expression patterns.

  • Publication number: 20210164849
Abstract: A temperature sensor has a heat-sensitive element contained within a chamber, the heat-sensitive element changing from a first configuration to a second configuration at a predetermined temperature, and a biased member biased towards the chamber. The biased member initially is prevented from entering the chamber when the heat-sensitive element is in the first configuration and enters the chamber when the heat-sensitive element is in the second configuration. In some aspects, the first configuration is solid and the second configuration is liquid and a selectively permeable element is provided to allow the heat-sensitive element to exit the chamber in the liquid configuration. An indicator can be provided that has a plurality of feet initially held in a retained configuration by the biased member until the biased member enters the chamber to release the feet for sliding motion of the indicator.

  • Publication number: 20200167416
Abstract: A method of generating a message body including receiving data points from a plurality of sources. The plurality of sources determines the dynamic fields presented on a graphical user interface that may be utilized to generate a message body. The dynamic fields are then enriched by the data points. If no data point is available, the graphical user interface notifies the user and inhibits the user from generating a text message from the message body. The method may also utilize dynamic templates to generate a message body. These dynamic templates are enriched when utilized by the graphical user interface. A text message generated is sent to an SMS server.

  • Publication number: 20200081012
Abstract: Embodiments herein provide methods, apparatuses, and systems for detecting, monitoring, measuring, and/or characterizing the activity of phosphoproteins such as tyrosine kinases (TKs) and downstream proteins in TK signal transduction pathways (e.g., TK pathway proteins). In various embodiments, the methods, apparatuses, and systems may use nanoparticles, such as quantum dots (QD), to detect and/or characterize the abnormally overactive TK signaling pathways that underlie tumorgenesis and tumor progression. In various embodiments, the QD-based methods, apparatuses, and systems may have a sufficiently high degree of sensitivity to enable the identification of new TK signaling pathway markers, for example for use in diagnosing, staging, monitoring, and/or prognosing cancers, or in evaluating the efficacy of cancer therapeutics.
