Abstract: A method and a system for mutual consensus of meeting participants in established real-time sessions configured for allowing mutual consensus. In some embodiments, the a virtual meeting can be established between multiple parties (e.g. at least two participants) in which nobody can leave the meeting, or session, until an agreement is reached. In addition, a meeting exit function can be provided to give a moderator control to prohibit participants from leaving the meeting beforehand.

Abstract: A method in which a communication device can be configured with a MAC address so that when the user logs into a network environment using a communication device from among a number of communication devices a MAC address is assigned to the user and is specific to the user. The MAC address assignment can be used for pairing with a communication device assigned to the user (e.g. a near-field communication device). A database containing MAC addresses can be connected to communication devices through a network and can provide user-specific MAC addresses that are readable into or otherwise transmittable to a predetermined communication device when a user logs into the network. The database can be managed by a server or other computer device of the network.

Abstract: A communication system can include terminal devices that communicate with a social network or a computer server device for scheduling use of conference resources and/or for using conference appliances that may be located in a conference room being used for a video conference or teleconference. The communication system can be configured to permit a user to use such resources without having to have a user's device be physically and directly connected by wiring to a conference appliance or communication device. The communication system can also be configured to validate participants to help ensure that only authorized personnel are properly attending a scheduled conference based on audio and/or video input received for the different participants and can also be configured to allow screen sharing to be performed during a video conference or teleconference.
