Abstract: A method and a system for transferring a PIM-address in an electronic formula of a PIM-application, based on a communication connection between end devices of subscribers in a communication system are provided. A communication system address, which identifies the second end device, detects user input of a first subscriber. The detected communication system-address is converted into a PIM address which identifies a second subscriber, the PIM-address to the PIM-application and the transferred PIM-address is input into a field of the electronic formula of the PIM-application.

Abstract: The invention relates to methods and a communication device for establishing a communication transmission (ALTV), wherein upon detecting an original signaling (SIGRA) directed from a first terminal (EG2) to a second terminal (EG2) within the scope of an establishment of a connection, the second terminal (EG2) being addressed via a target address associated with the second terminal (EG2), it is recorded in what quantity further signalings (SIGRA) having the same sender address specifying the first terminal (EG1) and the same target address are detected within the scope of further attempts to establish a connection. An evaluation of time information is carried out with regard to the times of the detection of the detected original signaling (SIGRA) and the detected further signalings (SIGRA) in relation to at least one predetermined time period.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method for providing a telephone conference between a first communication device and at least one second communication device in a communication network, in which upon detection of a key being pressed on a second communication device to initiate a conference, the time of detection is taken as a basis for ascertaining dialup data stored in the communication network for the purpose of setting up a conference, the second communication device initiates an attempt at a connection to the first communication device, and the dialup data are taken as a basis for setting up a connection to implement the conference. The invention also relates to an arrangement for carrying out the method.

Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a communication system for operating a communication connection (KV) between a first communication transmitting unit (TT1) and at least one second communication transmitting unit (TT2), a coupling (CTIK) being provided to a data processing system. Abstract: The invention relates to a method and a communications arrangement for operating a communications connection between a communications terminal device (KE1) associated with a first participant and at least one first terminal device (KE2) associated with a second participant. For a process running on a second terminal device (RE1) integrating with a first communications terminal device (KE1) to be operated by the first participant, said process being free of functions for controlling the communications connection, at least one piece of information that is reproducible on a terminal device is extracted from a process-produced output (P1) to the second terminal device (RE1). Further, upon initiation of the communications connection between the communications terminal device (KE1) and the first terminal device (KE2), the reproducible information is transmitted to at one of the least one terminal devices (KE2, RE2) associated with the second participant.

Abstract: The present application relates to a method and a communication system with which participants of a scheduled meeting, in particular a business meeting or conference, can be reached by a telephone caller without the caller needing to know the telephone number of the participants. Conventionally, the caller who does not have available the corresponding number must obtain said number by calling a telephone switchboard or by searching in an electronic address book. This disadvantage is overcome by the subject matter of the application by the fact that a connection to a meeting participant, preferably the organizer of the meeting, is established using only the telephone number of the caller. For this purpose, the caller is identified by the caller's telephone number, and thereafter an address book is examined to determine whether the caller is a participant in a meeting.

Abstract: There is described a method, a terminal device, and a communication system for programming a button of a communication terminal device whereby a user input on the communication terminal device activates an application on a data processing device associated with the communication terminal device. The activated application triggers the display of button programming information for selection for a respective button programming. The selection of one of the displayed button programming information messages on the data processing device triggers the assignment of the associated button programming to the button on the communication terminal device.

Abstract: Activating a feature of a first communication terminal, includes registering first address information that specifies the first communication terminal based on an incoming transmission at the first communication terminal or at a connection controller assigned to the first communication terminal, registering second address information that specifies a sender based on the incoming transmission, checking whether the registered second address information has been assigned for the first address information, and activating the feature when the checking returns a positive result.

Abstract: There is described a method, a system and a terminal for occupying a key and a display field, which is associated with the key, of a first end device of a first subscriber. An address identifies the second end device of a second subscriber, following user input of the first subscriber. The detected address is assigned to the key as a target address for setting up a future connection. Associated subscriber information is determined for the detected address, and the determined subscriber information is assigned to the display field.

Abstract: Proposed is a magnetic valve with manual override, through the actuating element of which a magnetic core that serves as a valve element or that is connected to a valve element can be shifted from an off position into an operating position without excitation of a magnetic coil system assigned to it. To detect the position of the magnetic core that is held in the operating position by the manual override there is provided a coil current monitoring device that monitors the rise of the coil current after the magnetic coil system has been switched on, which device has a detection device for detection of the absence of a drop in current as formed by movement of the magnetic core after being switched on and a signaling device for electrical signaling of a position of the magnetic core that is held in the operating position by the manual override if said drop in current is absent.

Abstract: A method for forwarding a call, in which a first number, which is entered on a first telecommunications terminal and is assigned to a second terminal, is used to establish a connection to the second terminal and the call remains unanswered in the second terminal is provided. The method allows the A-subscriber to reach a person by telephone who is assigned to the B-subscriber by triggering the transmission of a message from the first terminal to the automatic telecommunications service to determine an alternative number. Abstract: A method for the user-based processing of electronic messages comprising file attachments is provided. According to the method, a file attachment of an electronic message is replaced by a memory location link to a selected memory location in a user file system and the file attachment of the electronic message is saved in the selected memory location of the user file system. This permits the memory capacity that is required for storing data attachments to be significantly reduced in a user-friendly system.
