Abstract: We provide methods for influencing the presentation of image information displayed on a display device of a piece of information technology equipment using a transformation of an image including performing a first transformation according to a control motion performed by the user; and triggering a transformation; providing a field on the display device such that the field at the conclusion of the control motion remains activatable for at least a defined or definable period, and performing an additional transformation that is identical to the first transformation each time the field is activated by the user. The invention furthermore relates to a corresponding piece of information technology equipment.

The customer logs in using the customer login thereof at the website of the company. The company is aware of which applications the customer has purchased, by means of the customer account information, and can proved corresponding supplementary downloads, including a licensing key. The licensing key can then be transmitted to the installed application in a simple manner using the method presented.

Abstract: A method is disclosed for managing communication processes (N1-N4) between internal participants (A, B, C) of an internal communication network on the one hand and external participants (E) on the other hand. First a list is set up in an internal communication network that contains incoming and outgoing communication activities between the internal participants and at least one external participant as a virtual mailbox. This virtual mailbox is assigned to the at least one external participant and is set up to be invisible or inaccessible to the at least one external participant. Communications activity between an internal participant and the external participant are recognized as being associated with the external participant based upon identification that has been assigned to the external participant and can be obtained from the communication activity. Each communication activity that has been recognized as being associated with the external participant is deposited in the virtual mailbox.

Abstract: A method for the user-based processing of electronic messages comprising file attachments is provided. According to the method, a file attachment of an electronic message is replaced by a memory location link to a selected memory location in a user file system and the file attachment of the electronic message is saved in the selected memory location of the user file system. This permits the memory capacity that is required for storing data attachments to be significantly reduced in a user-friendly system.
