Abstract: Phenylcyclobutylamide derivatives and their optical isomers, the preparing processes and the uses thereof, which includes the compounds of formula (I), their pure stereoisomers and their pharmaceutically acceptable salts. In formula (I), R is H, formacyl, acetyl, haloacetyl, benzoyl, benzyloxy carbonyl (Cbz), t-butoxy carbonyl (Boc), or 9-fluorenyl methoxyl carbonyl (Fmoc). The present novel compounds have pharmaceutical activity and are prepared by condensation reaction of racemic, levo- or dextro-demethyl Sibutramine and racemic or D/L isoleucine under a mild condition. It is demonstrated that the present compounds have effect of losing weight to obese mode rats in different level and the effect is better than Sibutramine by the animal experiments. So the medicaments prepared by the present compounds or the medicaments prepared by the compositions of the present compounds and other pharmaceutical activity compounds may be used for treating obesity.

An injection pump is adopted to directly inject the sulfonation raw material and sulfonating agent into autoclave for sulfonation cyclization reaction under high velocity. Moreover, the reciprocating pump is adopted to deliver part of materials in autoclave to condenser designed outside the autoclave for cooling, followed by delivering the cooled materials to another input end of injection pump which together with sulfonation raw material and sulfonating agent is injected into autoclave through high-velocity injection by injection pump. The apparatus is composed of autoclave, injection pump, reciprocating pump and condenser.

Abstract: A switched mode converter is disclosed that includes mode logic for switching between voltage mode and current mode. The converter includes sensing circuitry for sensing current on the primary side, load current on the secondary side, and converter output voltage. When load current is less than a predetermined value, the converter operates in voltage mode wherein output voltage of the voltage mode controller is used to control the duty cycle of a PWM controller. When load current is greater than a predetermined value, the converter operates in current mode wherein primary current is used to control the PWM controller. Thus during a light load when the converter is voltage controlled there is no need for a minimum load to stabilize the control loop. In current-mode the control loop will have faster transient response and avoid flux imbalance. Thereby providing advantages of both voltage and current controlled switched mode converters.
